1. Why advertise on Karlobag.eu

The portal is entered in the Register of Providers of the Croatian Council for Electronic Media and holds the International Standard Serial Number ISSN 3043-839X. This means editorial responsibility, transparent legal information and a consistent authorial policy — trust signals that brands value when choosing advertising partners.

We offer four standard formats. All ads are reviewed by the editorial team and we reserve the right to refuse content that is not aligned with our authorial policy (illegal gambling, hate speech, counterfeits).

Standard IAB formats: 728×90 leaderboard, 300×250 medium rectangle, 300×600 half-page, 970×250 billboard. Positions: top of page, sidebar, in-article. Charged according to the CPM model (cost per mille).

Native and sponsored content

Editorially crafted articles in cooperation with the brand — always marked "Sponsored". Written by our authors according to the brand's brief, and may be made available in all 6 languages. Ideal format for long-tail and evergreen campaigns.

Affiliate cooperation

Links to your products/services in the Sport, Music, Travel verticals. Charged per sale or per click (CPS / CPC), depending on the agreement. The portal currently uses affiliate programmes and partner links from platforms such as Viagogo, Stay22 and Ticombo.

Newsletter

Newsletter sponsorship

Advertising space within the weekly newsletter, with a fixed price per issue. Vertical exclusivity is available — only one sponsor per newsletter. The format is aimed at an audience that has self-subscribed to receive content.

4. Audience and geography

Most readers come from Germany, Austria, Poland, Spain, Croatia and the United Kingdom, with a growing share of audiences from francophone and hispanophone countries. Based on available analytical data and the editorial profile of the content, the audience primarily consists of users interested in sports, music, travel, stand-up comedy and events, with a focus on the 25 to 54 age group. The main source of traffic is organic search.

Detailed metrics, including monthly unique users, page views, average session duration and conversions by vertical, are provided on request, depending on the scope of the campaign and the type of cooperation.

5. What we do not do

Our authorial policy protects readers, brand trust and the portal's ISSN status. Therefore we do not accept:

  • Illegal gambling and dubious financial services — casinos without an appropriate licence, fraudulent investment offers, unrealistic promises of earnings and similar risky schemes.
  • Hate speech, disinformation and harmful content — content that incites discrimination or violence, false medical or scientific claims, political propaganda.
  • Counterfeits and copyright infringement — fake tickets, counterfeit goods, stolen content, content that violates third-party trademarks or copyright.

6. How to get started

Send us an e-mail with a brief campaign description, desired format and indicative budget. We respond within 2 business days with a detailed media kit document (PDF), placement proposal and concrete pricing. If terms are agreed, we sign a standard IO (Insertion Order) and the campaign starts within the agreed timeframe.
