Holy Mass marked the Day of the Military Chaplaincy of St. John the Baptist in the barracks of the 123rd Brigade of the Croatian Army in Požega in the presence of senior officials

On June 24, 2024, in the barracks of the "123rd Brigade of the Croatian Army" in Požega, a holy mass was held on the occasion of the Day of Military Chaplaincy of St. John the Baptist. The ceremony was attended by military chaplains, high-ranking officials and members of the barracks.

On the occasion of the Day of the Military Chaplaincy of Saint John the Baptist at the barracks "123rd Brigade of the Croatian Army" in Požega, today, June 24, 2024, a holy mass was celebrated, led by the Vicar General Don Marko Medo, with the participation of military chaplains and the dean of the Osijek Military Deanery, Preč. Vladislav Mandura.

At the mass celebration, in addition to the commanders of the units stationed in the "123rd Brigade of the Croatian Army" barracks and the members of the barracks' units, the Deputy County Prefect of Požeško-slavonska County Ferdinand Troha, Deputy Mayor Borislav Miličević, Chief of the Požeško-slavonska Police Department Željko Grgić with associates, and others were also present.

Commemorative Speech
The military chaplain, Rev. Željko Volarić, gave a commemorative speech at the beginning of the ceremony, greeting all those present and emphasizing the importance of spiritual support for members of the military. His words highlighted the unity and spiritual strength that comes from faith, especially in the context of military service.

Throughout the day, after the mass celebration, various activities were held within the barracks. Members of the barracks participated in sports competitions, workshops, and had the opportunity to talk to military chaplains about questions that interest them.
