Pilots of the Croatian Air Force have been intensively conducting flight exercises over all regions of Croatia in recent months. These activities will continue in the coming period, including regular and night flights.

Since the beginning of 2023, Rafale pilots have been training in France, aiming to perfect their skills on these advanced fighter jets. On this occasion, they sent a message to all citizens of Croatia:

“Dear fellow citizens, the noise you hear during the flight of our Rafale jets is the sound that preserves the hard-fought Croatian freedom. We are pleased that in the coming days, months, and years, this sound will be synonymous with the security of Croatia and all its citizens at any time of day or night. Best regards from the pilots of the 191st Fighter Squadron”.

Intensive flight activities in July
According to the plan, the pilots of the 191st Squadron will conduct regular flight tasks on July 22 and 23, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The breaking of the sound barrier and increased noise are expected in the Lika-Senj, Zadar, Istria, and Primorje-Gorski Kotar counties.

Night flights in July
In addition to daytime activities, night flights are planned from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM. During these flights, increased noise can be expected in the regions of Slavonia, Istria, Banovina, and Lika.

The Rafale pilots are aware that their training may cause unpleasant noise, so they have sent a message to the citizens of Croatia, hoping that together we will continue to strengthen security and preserve the peace of our homeland.

It is important to note that the Croatian Air Force conducts all activities in designated flight zones, in accordance with the regulations and rules governing the use of airspace in the Republic of Croatia.
