The year 2024 was a turning point for D-Marin, a company that significantly expanded its marina portfolio and enhanced the customer experience to new levels. The current portfolio includes 25 marinas in eight countries in the Mediterranean and the Persian Gulf, including four marinas in Croatia. This growth is accompanied by a series of exciting projects in the pipeline.

Portfolio Expansion and Strategic Acquisitions

During 2024, D-Marin expanded its presence in the Mediterranean by adding seven new premium marinas in strategic locations. Notably, the entry into the French market with the Camille Rayon marina in the Golfe-Juan bay stands out, offering an ideal entry point to the French Riviera. In Italy, the portfolio was joined by the Aregai, San Lorenzo, and Porto Mirabello marinas, located near the Flower Riviera and Cinque Terre. This expansion added 3,204 new berths and three shipyards, increasing the total capacity to 14,000 berths, including more than 1,000 for superyachts.

Presence in Croatia

In Croatia, D-Marin manages four marinas: D-Marin Dalmacija in Sukošan, D-Marin Borik in Zadar, D-Marin Mandalina in Šibenik, and Marina Tribunj. Marina Borik is located near the historic part of Zadar, making it attractive for long-term and short-term rentals. D-Marin Dalmacija is the largest D-Marin marina on the Croatian coast, with excellent access to the Dalmatian islands and a peaceful haven for catamarans. Marina Tribunj is located in the heart of Dalmatia, in the charming village of Tribunj known for its traditional architecture and excellent restaurants. Marina Mandalina, located near Šibenik, is designed for megayacht reception and is one of the safest places for mooring in the Adriatic and an excellent starting point for visiting Krka National Park.

Enhancement of Digital Experience

In 2024, D-Marin introduced a new website offering an intuitive and engaging user experience. Enriched with attractive videos and images, it allows easier exploration of the marina portfolio, online berth reservations, and access to real-time key information. The improved booking system simplifies the process for sailors, while the first AI assistant in the industry provides instant support and guidance. Interactive maps and dynamic features make it easier to explore marinas, attractions, and sailing routes, while the advanced analytical system optimizes performance and user engagement. This digital transformation strengthens D-Marin's commitment to innovation and sets a new standard in the nautical industry.

Initiatives for Loyal Clients

To encourage clients to explore as many premium marinas as possible, D-Marin launched the "Happy Berth Days" initiative. This initiative allows owners of prepaid annual contracts to enjoy up to seven free days of stay at any D-Marin marina until the end of 2025. With more than 50,000 clients annually and 2,500 top-tier shipyard services, D-Marin continues to expand nautical tourism options and increase availability for its clients.

Commitment to Sustainability and Innovation

D-Marin leads in sustainability and innovation, with a mission that goes beyond excellent service. The company won the prestigious Green Apple Award for pioneering solar initiatives, while sixteen of its marinas received the Blue Flag, an international certification for coastal destinations that meet strict ecological and safety criteria. The Silver EcoVadis certificate ranks D-Marin among the top 6% of companies in the recreation sector, confirming its commitment to environmental protection. D-Marin is also proud of the awards won at the Abu Dhabi Maritime Awards, where three of its Turkish marinas won five prestigious recognitions. The jury praised D-Marin for its excellent customer interaction, health and safety protection, and staff development initiatives.

In Pylos and Vlora, investments will cover the development of new marinas tailored to local needs, with a special emphasis on stimulating the local economy and protecting the environment.
