Special attention is devoted to decorations such as nativity scenes and Advent candles on the pedestal of the Blessed Virgin Mary, while the illuminated Lošinj street B(a)rdina further contributes to the festive ambiance. One of the highlighted events is the humanitarian race "Christmas Race – From Square to Squares", which gathers participants of all age groups, including pets.

Student Evening and Music Program

The traditional Student Evening, scheduled for December 27, brings performances by popular artists such as Dubioze Kolektiv and Hiljsona Mandele. Throughout the entire Advent, visitors can enjoy performances by local bands, a cappella groups, and DJs, with the program opening by JOLE. Among other performers are Fiesta band, Swingersi, Face grupa, Tamburaški sastav Prijatelji Vrbovec, grupa Joy, and Gearbox. The New Year's Eve will be marked by Night Express band, while Losinj Hotels & Villas will host Sergej Ćetković.

Holiday Traditions

Christmas morning in the main square is reserved for the youngest, with a special program filled with children's activities and animation. The traditional "New Year's Bath" attracts brave swimmers, who are provided with warm blankets and Lošinj tea. The last day of the year begins with accordions, a rich gastronomic offer, and a toast by the mayor and the director of the Tourist Board during the "Morning Walk".
