Police officers of the Zagreb Police Department have completed a criminal investigation against a 37-year-old woman on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of unauthorized production and trafficking of drugs.
The criminal investigation revealed that the suspect, contrary to the provisions of Article 3 of the Law on the Suppression of Drug Abuse, procured a large quantity and various types of drugs with the intention of further resale. She hid, weighed, and repackaged the drugs in an apartment in Zagreb.
During the search of the apartment, the following was found:
- 24.65 grams of marijuana, packed in 18 different packages
- 3.7 grams of marijuana resin, packed in three packages
- 57 MDMA tablets, packed in three packages
- 47.5 grams of MDMA, packed in 24 packages
- 1.40 grams of methamphetamine
- 91.75 grams of amphetamine, packed in 10 packages
- two digital scales for precise weight measurement
- money suspected to have been obtained from drug sales.
Next Steps
Upon completion of the criminal investigation, the suspect was handed over to the detention supervisor within the legal deadline. A criminal complaint was filed with the Municipal State Attorney's Office in Novi Zagreb.
