On July 11, 2024, at approximately 1:05 PM, a police officer from the Zagreb Traffic Police Station II, on Ledinski Road in Zagreb, stopped an official Škoda Octavia vehicle with blue rotating lights and turn signals activated to secure the scene of a traffic accident.

At that time, a 65-year-old driver of a car with Zagreb license plates collided with the stopped vehicle. The vehicle was traveling on Lujo Naletilić Street in a southeast direction. After reaching the intersection with Ledinski Road, the driver turned left onto Ledinski Road and continued driving east. Despite the obligation, he did not keep the vehicle closer to the right edge of the road, which endangered other road users and exposed himself to danger.

Breathalyzer testing showed that the driver had a blood alcohol concentration of 1.51 g/kg. He was arrested and placed in the Detention and Escort Unit for sobering up, after which he will be brought before the Municipal Misdemeanor Court in Zagreb for traffic violations.

There were no injuries in this traffic accident.
