Tartu Lauluvaljak is one of Tartu's most important open-air venues for concerts and large-scale musical gatherings. The acoustic arch rises 28 metres high, measures 54 metres across and extends 42 metres in depth, forming a hyperbolic paraboloid that combines with the audience area to create a characteristic oval amphitheatre.
