Teatro de la Ciudad is one of Coatzacoalcos' principal performing arts venues and forms part of the Centro de Convenciones complex. Designed by architect Abraham Zabludovsky, the theatre is distinguished by modern architecture combining strong geometric volumes, extensive glass surfaces and a spacious entrance area. Its auditorium, with approximately 1,728 seats, accommodates theatre productions, concerts, ballet, conferences and other large cultural events.
Inside, the venue features a large stage, professional theatrical infrastructure, an orchestra pit and an acoustic shell, allowing the space to adapt to different types of productions. Visitors have access to a foyer, box office, restrooms and refreshment facilities, while ramps, an elevator and other accessibility features make the building easier to use for guests with reduced mobility.
The theatre is located at Av. Abraham Zabludovsky 201, Col. El Encanto, Coatzacoalcos, Mexico. The main entrance can be reached conveniently by car or taxi, and parking is available within the complex, which is particularly useful for larger events.
