Estadio Nacional Soberania is one of Managua’s most important sports venues and a modern centre for Nicaraguan baseball. Opened in 2017, the stadium has seating for approximately 15,000 spectators. Its contemporary structure, large playing field and clearly arranged stands create a distinctive setting for national and international sporting fixtures as well as other large-scale events.
The interior is designed primarily to provide clear views of the field, with seating arranged around the main playing area. Covered sections of the stands add comfort, while stadium lighting makes evening events possible. The venue also includes an area dedicated to Nicaraguan sporting achievements, displaying trophies, medals and other memorabilia. For major events, arriving early is advisable to allow enough time for security checks, finding the correct seating section and purchasing food or drinks where concessions are available.
The stadium is located at Intersección Paseo Tiscapa, Paseo de la Universidad, Managua, Nicaragua. The venue can be approached directly via the roads surrounding the stadium, with parking areas available in the immediate vicinity; access and availability may vary according to the event.
