Narodowe Forum Muzyki is one of Wrocław's leading concert venues and a striking example of contemporary architecture inspired by music. The form and finish of the façade evoke a string instrument, while the contrast between dark walls and light staircases inside recalls the keys of a piano. The complex contains four concert halls, with the main hall seating around 1,800 guests for major orchestral, choral, jazz and other musical performances.
One of the venue's defining features is its adjustable acoustics. The main hall uses acoustic chambers, movable reflectors and sound-absorption systems, while the concert spaces are structurally isolated from external noise and vibrations. A combination of stalls, amphitheatre-style seating, seating behind the stage and three balconies provides different perspectives on the performers, while spacious foyers, a bistro and a bookstore add to the visitor experience.
The venue is located at plac Wolności 1, Wrocław, Poland. A large underground car park beneath the square provides direct access to the building by lifts and stairs, making it convenient for visitors arriving by car.
