MTS Dvorana - Sala 1 is the main multipurpose auditorium within one of central Belgrade's distinctive cultural complexes. It occupies the protected former Trade Union Hall building, whose architectural identity was preserved through an extensive renovation. Sala 1 accommodates approximately 1,380 visitors and is designed for concerts, theatre performances, film premieres, festivals and other large-scale events.
The interior places particular emphasis on acoustics and audience comfort. Wooden wall panels help shape the sound, while acoustically tested seats, approximately one metre of spacing between rows, and seating across the stalls, balcony and boxes provide comfortable viewing for longer events. The hall features modern concert sound equipment, Dolby audio and 4K projection technology, with food and beverage facilities also available within the wider venue complex.
The venue is located at Dečanska 14, Belgrade, Serbia, next to Nikola Pašić Square. There is no dedicated on-site car park, but the Pionirski park and Zeleni venac parking garages are only a few minutes' walk away, while the Terazije public transport stop is approximately 130 metres from the venue. From Terazije, a short walk towards Nikola Pašić Square and Dečanska Street leads to the entrance. For broader information on travelling around Belgrade, see the city guide further down the page.
