Teatro Las Lagunas Mijas, now officially known as Teatro Manuel España, is a contemporary theatre in Las Lagunas de Mijas designed by architect José Seguí. Conceived as an important cultural venue, the building is distinguished by its white concrete-brick façades and an architecturally designed inner plaza leading towards the auditorium. The theatre accommodates around 640 visitors across the stalls, side boxes and amphitheatre, making it suitable for plays, concerts, dance performances and other cultural events.
The main auditorium was designed with performance functionality and sound in mind.
