Arena Arctica is a large multi-purpose venue located within the Kiruna Airport area, distinguished by its spacious and highly functional hangar-style design. Covering approximately 5,000 square metres, the building was originally designed for testing activities in the aviation and automotive industries and is large enough to accommodate a Boeing 747. Its flexible layout can host up to around 3,500 visitors and allows the venue to be used for concerts, trade fairs, exhibitions, product launches and other large-scale events.
The expansive open interior can be configured in different ways for stages, audiences and exhibition areas depending on the event. Supporting facilities include conference space, offices, laboratory rooms, changing areas, toilets and a staff or lunch area, giving organisers considerable flexibility for both public events and corporate productions.
The arena is located at Flygfältsvägen, Kiruna, Sweden, directly within the Kiruna Airport area. Visitors arriving by car can use the ample parking available outside the arena, providing convenient access to the entrance without a lengthy walk.
