Popejoy Hall is one of New Mexico's most important performing arts venues and the largest hall of its kind in the state, with seating for up to 1,985 guests. Located within the University of New Mexico's Center for the Arts, the venue follows a traditional theatre layout with orchestra, mezzanine and balcony seating. Its stage and technical infrastructure accommodate concerts, major touring theatre productions, dance and a wide variety of other live performances.
Inside, the clearly arranged seating levels provide different perspectives of the stage, while the auditorium configuration supports both musical and spoken-word performances. A spacious lobby, an accessible main entrance and facilities designed for different audience needs help make visits comfortable before and during an event.
The hall is located at Cornell Dr 203, Albuquerque, United States, near the intersection of Cornell Drive and Redondo Drive on the University of New Mexico campus. Drivers can use the Cornell Parking Structure immediately east of the Center for the Arts, followed by a short walk to the entrance; the G Lot is also used for some events with shuttle service to the hall.
