This winter, Orebic brings an unforgettable Advent experience. From 14 to 31 December, enjoy music, gastronomy, children's workshops and traditional customs at Mimbelli Square. Welcome the New Year with live music and a unique holiday atmosphere.

Orebić, a picturesque town on the Pelješac Peninsula, will once again come to life this winter with a festive spirit through the event Advent at Mimbelli Square. From December 14 to 31, 2024, daily from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a rich program that combines tradition, culture, and gastronomy, creating a unique experience for all generations.


Gastronomic Offer


At the center of the event, there will be two Advent cabins offering a variety of delicacies. Lovers of hot beverages will be able to warm up with mulled wine, mulled gin, and a new addition to the offering – mulled whiskey. For those who prefer tasty snacks, sausages, hamburgers, ćevapi, fritters, and homemade fries will be prepared, satisfying the diverse gastronomic tastes of visitors.


Music Program


Advent in Orebić will feature a rich music program. The opening of the event on December 14 at 9:00 PM will be highlighted by the performance of the Sabioncello band, while December 16 is reserved for a concert by the Trio Sabioncello. A special evening, called the Wine Night, will take place on December 15 with the participation of the League Against Cancer and the Poloneza Folklore Group, offering visitors a unique blend of music and humanitarian action.


The music program continues on December 23 with a concert by the tambura ensemble Marinero, while on December 25, the Christmas band will perform. A special highlight is the concert of the young star Adi Šoša with his band, scheduled for December 28, which will surely attract many visitors.


Children's Program


The youngest visitors will be able to enjoy various activities tailored to their age group. Children's film screenings will be held on December 17 and 20, while on December 18, a children's workshop titled "Letter to Santa Claus" is planned.


A special children's day will take place on December 21, with a performance by a children's choir and dance group, and the arrival of Santa Claus, who will hand out presents to the children. Additionally, on December 22, a Christmas raffle will be organized with a musical performance by Dino and Leon, providing children and families the opportunity for fun together.


Traditional Customs


In the spirit of Christmas traditions, on Christmas Eve, December 24, from 10:00 AM, traditional cod will be distributed, offering an opportunity for gathering and socializing with authentic flavors. This tradition further enriches the festive atmosphere and connects visitors with the local culture.


New Year's Eve Celebration


To bid farewell to the old year and welcome the New Year 2025, a full-day program is organized on December 31. The children's celebration will take place at noon, providing the youngest with a chance for a cheerful celebration. In the evening, from 10:00 PM, visitors will be able to enjoy a live performance by the Print band, creating a fantastic atmosphere and a cheerful mood for entering the new year.

In addition, on December 27, the event "Kunovske Christmas Traditions" will take place in Kuna, organized by HNK Rat. This event further enriches the festive offering of Orebić and its surroundings, providing visitors with an insight into local customs and traditions.
