Cage The Elephant announces Dying In Reverse Tour for 2027: 15 concerts across Europe and the United Kingdom
American rock band Cage The Elephant has announced a new European and UK tour for 2027 titled Dying In Reverse Tour. According to the schedule published on September 7, 2026, the tour will begin on February 8 at Berlin's Tempodrom and conclude on March 1 with a major concert at London's Alexandra Palace. In just over three weeks, the band will perform a total of 15 shows, nine of them on the European continent and six in the United Kingdom. After Berlin, concerts will follow in Kraków, Hamburg, Düsseldorf, Antwerp, Amsterdam, Milan, Lausanne and Paris, while the UK leg of the tour will include Cardiff, Leeds, Glasgow, Birmingham, Manchester and London. It is the group's first major series of concerts in Europe and the United Kingdom since the 2025 tour, during a period in which Cage The Elephant is simultaneously opening a new chapter in its discography.
The tour announcement is connected to new material the band has been working on following the 2024 album Neon Pill. According to information published by concert organizers and music media, the tour's name was taken from the song Dying In Reverse, whose release was announced for September 10, 2026. The single is expected to be the second publicly unveiled song from the group's forthcoming seventh studio album, following the single Beaches In Tennessee, released in August. Details about the album title, final track listing and release date had not been officially confirmed by September 8. However, organizers of the London concert state that the tour will also include new music from that future release, suggesting that in early 2027 audiences will hear a significant portion of the new repertoire alongside the band's familiar songs.
From Berlin to London in 22 days
The tour schedule shows that Cage The Elephant will pass through a number of important European concert markets during February 2027, with a relatively tight performance schedule. The first concert is scheduled for Monday, February 8, at the Tempodrom in Berlin, after which the band will perform the very next evening at the Studio club in Kraków. After a short break, two more German dates follow, February 11 at the Sporthalle in Hamburg and February 12 at the Mitsubishi Electric Halle in Düsseldorf. German organizer Prime Entertainment confirms those three concerts and states that general ticket sales begin on September 11 at 10 a.m. The following day, the tour moves to Antwerp, where the performance is scheduled at De Roma.
The run continues on February 15 at Amsterdam's AFAS Live, a venue where the band also performed during its 2025 European tour. The official AFAS Live website confirms the date and states that the concert is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m., while Dutch promoter MOJO announces that general sales begin on September 11 at 10 a.m. Two days later, on February 17, Cage The Elephant plays at Fabrique in Milan, and on February 18 at Les Docks in Lausanne. The final concert of the continental leg of the tour is scheduled for February 20 at Zénith in Paris. After that, the band moves to the United Kingdom, where it will play six concerts in eight days, making it the busiest part of the entire schedule.
The UK series begins on February 22 at Depot Cardiff, followed the very next day by O2 Academy in Leeds. O2 Academy Glasgow is then scheduled for February 25, O2 Academy Birmingham for February 26 and Victoria Warehouse in Manchester for February 28. The finale is reserved for March 1 at London's Alexandra Palace, a historic complex in the north of the British capital whose official website confirms that the concert will take place in the Great Hall, with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. Alexandra Palace explicitly presents the show as part of the Dying In Reverse UK and European tour. The London concert will therefore serve as the final night of the entire series and will also be the biggest symbolic point of the band's return to the British stage after its sold-out London performances in 2025.

The list of announced dates covers eight countries: Germany, Poland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Italy, Switzerland, France and the United Kingdom. Germany is the only country on the continental leg of the tour with three concerts, while British audiences will receive six of the total 15 performances. At the time the tour was announced, no additional dates for other European countries had been presented, nor had any opening acts or special guests for the entire series been officially announced. Since the tour does not begin until February 2027, further organizational announcements are possible, but any such changes should be confirmed through the official channels of the band, promoters and individual venues.
Ticket sales begin September 11, presales depend on the market
According to currently published information, general ticket sales for the tour begin on Friday, September 11, 2026 at 10 a.m. local time in each market. NME states that some presales begin as early as September 9 at the same time, while the official websites of individual venues and promoters have slightly different schedules. Alexandra Palace, for example, announces its presale for September 10 at 10 a.m., followed by general sales one day later. MOJO in the Netherlands is also organizing its own presale on September 10, while confirming September 11 at 10 a.m. for general sales for the Amsterdam concert. This means that interested buyers should check the conditions for the specific city and ticketing system, as access to presales and their duration differ from country to country.
Prices are also not uniform across the tour. German promoter Prime Entertainment lists a base price of 55 euros before additional fees for the Düsseldorf concert, while MOJO lists a price of 54.98 euros for Amsterdam including service charges. For other cities, amounts may depend on the local distributor, ticket category and fee structure. Since sales conditions are specific to each country and platform, prices from one city cannot automatically be applied to the rest of the tour. For the final London concert, Ticketmaster UK confirms general sales on September 11 at 10 a.m. British Summer Time, while Alexandra Palace lists an age restriction of 16 for the event.
New singles preview the seventh studio album
The Dying In Reverse Tour arrives at a time when Cage The Elephant is gradually revealing music that will follow Neon Pill, the sixth studio album released on May 17, 2024 through RCA Records. Sony Music stated in its official announcement at the time that the album features the six-member lineup of Matthew Shultz, Brad Shultz, Daniel Tichenor, Jared Champion, Nick Bockrath and Matthan Minster. The album marked the group's return after a five-year recording gap since 2019's Social Cues and served as the foundation for an extensive touring cycle. Two years later, the band is already preparing its next studio chapter, giving the 2027 tour a different context from the previous series of concerts.
The first signal of this new period arrived with the single Beaches In Tennessee, which according to Cage The Elephant's official website is the band's current new release. Concert promoters state that the song was created with producers Justin Raisen and Jeremiah Raisen, also known as SADPONY, while the music video was directed by Matthew Shultz. The next single, Dying In Reverse, was announced for September 10 and also gives the entire tour its name. According to NME, it is the second song from the forthcoming seventh studio album, but by September 8 the band had not released complete details about the record. The upcoming single could therefore be the first clearer indication of the sound and thematic direction of the project that will accompany the 2027 tour.
Return after the European tour and major concerts with Oasis
Cage The Elephant held its most recent major run of concerts in Europe and the United Kingdom in February 2025, when it performed in Glasgow, Manchester, Wolverhampton, London, Cologne, Berlin, Amsterdam, Brussels and Paris. According to announcements at the time and later reports, London's O2 Academy Brixton also received an additional date, so the band played two concerts there. NME states in its current tour announcement that both London shows were sold out, which is one indication of strong demand for the band in the British market. The return to London in 2027 is now reserved for Alexandra Palace, and the venue's official website confirms that the concert will take place in the Great Hall. London therefore once again receives an important role in the band's European schedule, this time as the final stop of the entire tour.
During 2025, Cage The Elephant also gained significantly greater international visibility thanks to performances as the support act for Oasis on the North American leg of the Oasis Live '25 tour. Before the tour began, Radio X reported that the band had been booked for concerts in Toronto, Chicago, East Rutherford, Los Angeles and Mexico City, meaning all of Oasis' then-confirmed dates in Canada, the United States and Mexico. Oasis' official schedule confirms that those stadium concerts took place between August 24 and September 13, 2025. Performances in those stadiums further increased Cage The Elephant's international visibility ahead of the new cycle of its own concerts. The new 2027 tour nevertheless returns to the format of standalone indoor concerts, where the band has traditionally built its reputation through intense interaction with the audience and frontman Matthew Shultz's highly physical performances.
Two Grammys and a long-standing presence on the alternative rock scene
Cage The Elephant was formed in 2006 in Bowling Green, Kentucky, and over the following two decades grew into one of the most commercially successful American alternative rock bands of its generation. In its announcement for the London concert, Alexandra Palace states that the band has more than six billion streams and 13 songs that reached number one on the U.S. Alternative Radio format. Those figures complement a discography that includes the albums Cage The Elephant, Thank You, Happy Birthday, Melophobia, Tell Me I'm Pretty, Social Cues and Neon Pill. The Recording Academy also confirms two Cage The Elephant victories in the Best Rock Album category at the Grammys. Tell Me I'm Pretty won the award at the 2017 ceremony, while Social Cues won the same category in 2020. It is precisely this combination of long-term radio success, a streaming audience and a live reputation that has allowed the band to remain relevant despite the changes that have affected the rock market over the past decade. For organizers of the new tour, it is particularly important that the group is now appearing before audiences with a recognizable catalog, but also with enough new material that the concerts will not rely exclusively on retrospection. Frontman Matthew Shultz said in a statement carried by European promoters that the band is looking forward to returning to Europe and the United Kingdom and especially to performing new songs for audiences that, as he said, have welcomed them warmly there for years. That message also summarizes the basic logic of the tour: returning to markets where Cage The Elephant already has an established audience base, but at a time when the focus is shifting toward a new studio era. The start in Berlin and finish in London frame an itinerary that includes several major European music centers, with no festival appearances in the currently confirmed schedule. If there are no subsequent changes, the tour will connect 15 indoor concerts and eight countries in just 22 days from February 8 to March 1, 2027. For fans, however, the more immediately important date will be September 11, 2026, when general ticket sales begin in most markets.
