IVE returns to Kia Forum with a new leg of its world tour
IVE will perform at Kia Forum in Inglewood on Saturday, August 1, 2026. The concert begins at 8:00 PM, doors open at 6:30 PM, and the venue's outdoor terrace is accessible from 5:00 PM. The ticket is valid for this concert date.
The "SHOW WHAT I AM" tour stop comes at a time when the six-member group has a considerably broader repertoire than during its first performance at the same venue in 2024. An Yujin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Wonyoung, Liz and Leeseo can now connect their early hits with newer songs, solo segments and material from their current recording era.
IVE now has two studio albums, a series of EP releases and a world tour that has already visited major arenas across Asia and Oceania. The audience can expect transitions between dance-pop, large choruses, precise choreography and calmer vocal sections.
It is worth securing tickets in advance, especially when accommodation and transportation also need to be coordinated.
From "ELEVEN" to "BLACKHOLE": the development of IVE's sound
IVE debuted in December 2021 with the single "ELEVEN". The releases that followed quickly shaped a recognizable formula: easily memorable melodies, a contrast between refined verses and large choruses, and production combining pop, electronic music and rhythms adapted to dance performances.
"LOVE DIVE" reinforced the group's elegant and confident identity, while "After LIKE" introduced a disco feel and a particularly open chorus. "I AM" expanded the sound toward anthemic pop, while "Baddie", "HEYA", "REBEL HEART" and "ATTITUDE" demonstrated harder rhythms, more theatrical arrangements and different visual concepts.
The current Korean studio album "REVIVE+" was released on February 23, 2026. It was introduced by the singles "BANG BANG" and "BLACKHOLE", and the release provides more space for the individual character of each member. This directly connects with the format of the "SHOW WHAT I AM" tour, in which solo sections are an important part of the evening.
The latest Japanese phase is connected with the EP "LUCID DREAM", released on May 27, 2026. The title track retains IVE's elegance but places it within a more dreamlike and introspective framework. The current repertoire is therefore not limited to energetic singles, but allows for changes of pace and different vocal colors.
- "ELEVEN", "LOVE DIVE", "After LIKE" and "I AM" form the foundation of the group's recognizable identity.
- "Baddie", "HEYA", "REBEL HEART" and "ATTITUDE" represent the harder and more playful side of their production.
- "BANG BANG" and "BLACKHOLE" define the current Korean phase.
- "LUCID DREAM" provides a dreamier contrast to the more energetic concert material.
What previous performances reveal about the concert experience
The "SHOW WHAT I AM" tour opened with three concerts in Seoul in late October and early November 2025. Reports from those performances describe a program with clear changes in intensity, rather than merely an uninterrupted sequence of singles.
The beginning focused on choreography and more powerful songs, followed by solo performances from the members. The concert then moved into a softer section featuring songs such as "Off The Record", "Wow" and "Flu", before returning to larger choruses including "LOVE DIVE", "REBEL HEART" and "I AM". A live-band segment was also used in Seoul, giving the songs a different weight from their studio versions.
Later performances included newer material. After the release of the album "REVIVE+", the songs "BLACKHOLE" and "BANG BANG" entered the program, while "LUCID DREAM" was given space in Japan. This does not confirm an identical running order for Inglewood. Set lists may change depending on the market and the stage of the tour, so every song should not be promised in advance.
IVE is listed as the performer on the Kia Forum event page, without a confirmed opening act or special guest. Any later announcements should be checked shortly before arrival.
Who will find the concert especially appealing
The most direct audience consists of DIVE, fans who have followed the group since its first singles and recognize the differences between the Korean, Japanese and concert versions of the songs. Solo performances, changes in arrangements, fan chants and the members' interactions with the audience are important to them.
The concert is also appealing to a broader audience that knows the biggest hits but has not followed every release. IVE has enough songs with clear choruses and recognizable choreography for the energy of the arena to be felt even without detailed knowledge of the discography. It will particularly suit listeners of modern pop who enjoy a combination of dance performance, fashion and visually controlled stage presentation.
Light sticks, coordinated chants and reactions to the choreography create a rhythm between the stage and the stands. At Kia Forum, this collective response can be just as important as an individual stage effect.
Ticket sales for this event are underway. When choosing a seat, it is useful to decide whether the view of the complete choreography, proximity to the stage or a balance between sound and an overview of the production is more important.
Why Kia Forum suits this type of concert
Kia Forum opened in 1967 and reopened in 2014 after a major renovation. Today, the venue is primarily focused on music and entertainment programs. During the renovation, the acoustics, performers' dressing rooms, hospitality areas and the large floor area were upgraded.
Capacity for a concert configuration is up to approximately 17,500 visitors, depending on the stage and floor arrangement. A distinctive feature is the continuous bowl-shaped structure of the stands, without a traditional series of enclosed suites interrupting the space. Such a layout strengthens the feeling of a unified audience and makes it easier for performers to connect with multiple levels of the venue.
A wide view of the stage is important for IVE. Their choreography relies on precise formations, symmetry and rapid transitions between members. The middle and upper stands can therefore provide a better view of the choreography as a whole than the nearest side sections. The floor offers a more immediate experience, but the experience depends on the viewer's position and the configuration of the space.
The LED ceiling can complement the stage lighting, while the circular shape reduces the feeling of distance. Kia Forum is large enough for an arena production but more compact than a stadium.
Returning to Inglewood after the first American solo concert
IVE performed at Kia Forum on March 13, 2024, as part of the "SHOW WHAT I HAVE" tour. That concert opened the American leg of their first world tour. The return in 2026 is therefore an opportunity to compare two different stages of their career.
This time, Inglewood is the fifth stop on the North American leg. The tour began in Toronto, continued through Montreal, Newark and Austin, and Los Angeles will be followed by Oakland, Seattle and Vancouver. The performance is not the final show of the leg and should not be presented as a farewell concert for the tour.
Since the previous appearance, "IVE EMPATHY", "IVE SECRET", the album "REVIVE+" and the Japanese EP "LUCID DREAM" have been released. The concert therefore has enough new material not to feel like a repetition of the first performance.
Getting to Kia Forum and traffic around the venue
Kia Forum is located at 3900 W Manchester Blvd., Inglewood, California 90305, in the sports and entertainment district near SoFi Stadium and Intuit Dome. Visitors arriving from other cities should allow for traffic congestion throughout the wider Los Angeles area, especially before the program begins and after the concert ends.
Parking is available next to the venue, with entrances to the parking area located at Prairie Avenue and Kareem Court. The venue recommends carpooling, ride-hailing services and public transportation. A passenger pickup zone after the event is provided in Parking Lot H, near Pincay Drive and Prairie Avenue.
LA Metro bus lines 211 and 215 stop at the Prairie/Manchester or Prairie/Kelso intersections. The schedule should be checked on the day of the concert. Drivers most commonly approach via freeways 405, 110 or 105, but travel time depends heavily on traffic.
Arriving early is practical, especially when parking, passing through security or meeting a group is required. The terrace opens at 5:00 PM, allowing visitors to arrive before the main wave of the audience.
Entry schedule and preparation for the start
The following schedule has been announced for this event:
- 5:00 PM - opening of the outdoor terrace offering food and drinks.
- 6:30 PM - venue doors open.
- 8:00 PM - beginning of the IVE concert.
The ending time has not been announced, so plans should not be based on an assumed duration. Visitors using public transportation should check late-evening departures in advance, while those using ride-hailing services should expect increased demand after the audience exits.
Tickets for Kia Forum are used in mobile form. Screenshots and printed copies are not accepted, so it is useful to open the ticket in the appropriate application in advance and check the phone's battery level. The venue operates without cash payments for food, drinks and other purchases. Major cards and mobile payments are accepted, and locations for converting cash to a card are available inside the building.
Bags, cameras and items that slow down entry
A clear-bag policy applies to the concert. Clear bags measuring up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches, clear one-gallon freezer bags and small purses measuring up to 9 x 6 inches that do not need to be transparent are permitted. Medical bags and diaper bags are permitted when accompanying the person who uses them. All bags are subject to inspection.
Professional cameras with detachable lenses or telephoto lenses, video cameras, GoPro devices, tripods, monopods and selfie sticks are not permitted. Photography rules may be changed additionally for an individual concert, so it is safer to bring only a phone or a small non-professional camera if no additional restriction has been announced.
Outside food and drinks may not be brought inside, except for one factory-sealed bottle of water of up to 20 ounces. Large signs, noise-making devices, laser pointers, laptops, tablets and spare batteries are also prohibited. The list may be adjusted for an individual event, so it is useful to check it again before departure.
How to organize a visit to Inglewood
Inglewood is located in the southwestern part of the greater Los Angeles area and is convenient for travelers arriving through Los Angeles International Airport. However, traffic and other events at nearby arenas can significantly change the arrival time.
For a one-day visit, it is simpler to plan the entire afternoon around Inglewood instead of attempting to arrive from more distant parts of the city immediately before the doors open. Hollywood Park, with restaurants and public spaces, is located nearby, but the opening hours of individual establishments depend on the day.
Travelers staying overnight can choose accommodation in Inglewood, the LAX area or other parts of Los Angeles. When choosing, it is not enough to consider distance alone. The traffic route, availability of public transportation and the method of returning after the concert are more important.
When planning a trip specifically for IVE, it is worth coordinating tickets, accommodation and transportation before the day of the event.
The most important checks before departure
- Save the mobile ticket and check the phone's battery.
- Check whether the bag complies with the permitted dimensions.
- Choose parking, a bus or a pickup location before arrival.
- Arrive early enough for the security check and to find the seat.
- Do not rely on an unannounced duration, guest or specific song.
- Check for any schedule and policy changes on the day of the event.
