How to get to Bonus Parkorman
Bonus Parkorman is located at Maslak Mahallesi, Büyükdere Caddesi No: 263, Sarıyer, İstanbul. For visitors unfamiliar with the city, the simplest reference point is the M2 metro line. The venue states that the entrance can be reached on foot in approximately five minutes from Darüşşafaka station.
Bus routes stopping at Fatih Park Ormanı also serve the area, including 25G, 29A, 29C, 29D, 41, 42M, 47L, 59RK, 50H, 59RS and 62H, as well as minibuses on the Beşiktaş - Sarıyer route. Public transport schedules in a large city can change, so it is useful to check the current route on the day of the event.
Arriving by car requires more planning. Bonus Parkorman states that the number of parking spaces is limited and notes that vehicles do not enter the venue itself during event days. İSPARK Darüşşafaka Yeraltı Otoparkı is listed as the nearest option within walking distance. For most visitors staying along the M2 corridor, the metro is therefore the simpler choice, especially when leaving, when a large number of people move out of the venue at the same time.
What to check before setting off
The most important thing to check is not the set list, but the date. The initial event information lists August 22 at 16:00, but the current Babylon Soundgarden schedule divides the festival into two days and places Jack White on August 23. Jack White's own tour page also lists İstanbul and Babylon Soundgarden for August 23. If your ticket is valid for only one day, this is the information that needs to be reconciled before arrival.
Babylon's page for the festival day currently lists doors opening at 15:00. It is not reasonable to assume the timetable for individual performers until it is published, so there is no basis for claiming exactly what time Jack White will take the stage. Visitors who want to hear several performers have a good reason to arrive earlier, while those primarily targeting White's performance should follow the latest festival timetable immediately before the event.
It is also worth keeping in mind that a large open-air festival is not the same as a standalone concert. Entry, security checks, movement between zones and returning towards public transport can take time. A plan with sufficient time in reserve is usually more useful than trying to arrive at the last moment.
