There are parking lots around the complex, but the number of spaces is limited, and the organizer recommends arriving by public transport on festival days. Makuhari Messe is also connected by bus routes with other stations in Chiba as well as bus connections to Haneda and Narita airports, which is useful for visitors arriving in Japan from abroad.
The Kaihin-Makuhari area has been developed around major business, hotel, shopping and exhibition facilities.
