Karol G brings Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour to Santa Clara
Karol G arrives at Levi's Stadium in Santa Clara on Saturday, August 22, 2026, with the show scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM. This is an additional date on the Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour, introduced after strong demand for the first concert at the same stadium one day earlier. Santa Clara is therefore getting two consecutive stadium nights from one of the most recognizable performers in contemporary Latin pop and reggaeton.
The tour began in the world of the 2025 album "Tropicoqueta", but during the tour itself, on August 7, 2026, the new album "No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto" was released. The project contains 14 songs and delivers a more intimate, emotional sound, while the concerts retain the tropical, dance-oriented and highly visual energy of the Tropitour.
For the audience, this means an evening that is not simply a selection of the biggest hits. The current performances combine several periods of her career with material released only a few weeks before Santa Clara. Ticket sales for this event are currently underway.
Why this stage of her career matters
Karol G enters this tour with extensive stadium experience. The Mañana Será Bonito Tour included 62 concerts and attracted more than 2.3 million visitors, ending with four sold-out nights at Estadio Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid. In April 2026, she also became the first Latina artist to headline Coachella.
Viajando Por El Mundo Tropitour therefore feels like a continuation of an already established stadium language. The tour began on July 24 in Chicago, and the first reports described a multi-level stage design, a large dance ensemble, a big band and extensive use of Latin American musical influences.
Karol G moves through the repertoire from reggaeton to pop, merengue, R&B and more traditional Latin American arrangements. That breadth works well in a stadium because it allows for an alternation between large dance sections, communal sing-alongs and slower moments.
What has been heard on the Tropitour so far
Songs appearing at the concerts so far have included "LATINA FOREVA", "OKI DOKI", "QLONA", "S91", "Tropicoqueta", "Papasito", "MAMIII", "GATÚBELA", "AMARGURA", "Tusa", "Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido" and "PROVENZA". Previous set lists are nevertheless no guarantee for Santa Clara because the tour has already changed its repertoire.
Following the release of the album "No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto", songs such as "Te llevas To", "Alguien que te amaba" and "Si lo ven" entered the concert program. "Después de Ti" and "Ahí" were also performed at the Los Angeles show. That is precisely what gives this date additional appeal: the audience is attending a tour that is changing while it is happening.
The performances so far have lasted more than two hours and have been divided into several musical and visual sections. Early reports describe an opening with "LATINA FOREVA", large-scale scenery inspired by nature and cave-like forms, costume changes and transitions between reggaeton, pop, mambo, mariachi elements and dance finales.
For visitors who know only the biggest hits, the entry points are clear: "Tusa", "MAMIII", "PROVENZA" and "Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido". Longtime fans get a deeper overview of the albums and songs that show how Karol G has developed from an urban star into a performer who builds a full-evening stadium production.
Becky G opens the evening
Becky G has been announced for both dates in Santa Clara. Their careers have intersected for years, and their joint song "MAMIII" is one of the most recognizable collaborations in their catalogs.
Becky G brings her own blend of Latin pop, reggaeton and American pop, so for an audience that wants the full experience, it makes sense to arrive around the beginning of the event rather than only near Karol G's expected stage time. It has not been confirmed in advance that they will perform "MAMIII" together, so such a moment should not be taken for granted.
Levi's Stadium: a big space for a big show
Levi's Stadium is located at 4900 Marie P. DeBartolo Way in Santa Clara and has a capacity of 68,500 seats. It opened in 2014 and was primarily designed as a large sports stadium, so a concert here naturally emphasizes the scale of the production, mass choruses and a broad visual perspective more than the feeling of a small, intimate venue.
That suits Karol G's current show, which uses scenery, choreography and large screens. Audiences in the stands get an overview of the entire production, while seats closer to the stage provide a stronger sense of contact with the performer. At a stadium concert, there is no single universally best seat: the choice depends on whether an overview of the entire stage or physical proximity to the performer is more important.
- Capacity: 68,500 seats.
- Address: 4900 Marie P. DeBartolo Way, Santa Clara, California.
- Nearest VTA light rail station: Great America Station.
- Levi's Stadium is a cashless venue.
- Strict restrictions apply to the size and type of bags.
With crowds of this size, entering the venue can take time. It is worth securing tickets in good time and planning to arrive with extra time for traffic, security screening and finding your section.
Bags, cameras and security screening
Levi's Stadium allows clear bags no larger than 12 x 6 x 12 inches, clear one-gallon plastic bags and small clutch bags approximately 4.5 x 5 inches in size. Permitted bags are subject to inspection.
Cameras with detachable lenses and camera bags are not allowed, nor are tripods, monopods and selfie sticks. The stadium states that bag storage may be available at designated locations outside the main venue area, but it is simpler to arrive with items that already comply with the rules.
Rules may change depending on the event, so it is worth checking them again shortly before departure. In particular, any event-specific concert guide, gate opening times and permitted items should be checked.
How to get there by public transport
VTA light rail is one of the most direct options for traveling from the wider South Bay area. Trains stop at Great America Station on the north side of the stadium, and the network connects the stadium area with Mountain View, Sunnyvale, Milpitas, San Jose, Santa Clara and Campbell.
Passengers arriving by Caltrain can transfer at Mountain View Station to the VTA Orange Line toward Great America Station. Caltrain lists 12 stops and approximately 17 minutes of travel time for that connection after the transfer. Passengers arriving by BART can connect to the VTA Orange Line at Milpitas Station.
For major events, VTA publishes additional information about increased service when such service is planned. Detailed schedules may appear only a few days before the event, so it is wise to check the return connection before departure. After the concert, thousands of people head toward the same stations and passenger pickup areas at the same time.
Arriving by car and parking
The stadium is located near Highways 101, 237 and 880. Parking lots surround the wider venue area, but Levi's Stadium warns that the number of spaces available on the day of the event is limited and that such parking may be more expensive than parking reserved in advance.
Arriving by car should therefore be planned with additional time. Even after entering the stadium area, visitors still face slow traffic, finding the correct parking section, walking and security screening.
For people who need an accessible option, the stadium lists accessible parking in Red Lot 1 with the appropriate placard and parking pass. Transportation assistance to the stadium's west entrances is also available from Great America Station.
Santa Clara as the tour's second consecutive night
Santa Clara is located in the heart of Silicon Valley, within the immediate urban area of San Jose. Visitors coming from outside the region should keep in mind that Levi's Stadium is not in downtown San Francisco, although it is connected to the city through a combination of Caltrain and the VTA system.
Saturday's concert is the second of two consecutive Karol G dates at the stadium. The first is scheduled for Friday, while the second was added due to demand. This turns Santa Clara into an important two-day stop on this part of the tour, following Chicago, Toronto, Washington, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.
Who will find the concert especially appealing
The most obvious audience consists of fans who have followed Karol G through "Mañana Será Bonito" and "Tropicoqueta", but the program is broad enough for listeners of reggaeton, Latin pop and contemporary global pop as well.
It will particularly suit those who enjoy concerts with large-scale scenery, dancers and clearly structured visual sections. Visitors for whom the intimacy of a small venue matters most should expect a different experience: Levi's Stadium is a large venue, and the show is built for a crowd, communal singing and a broad visual reach.
What to check before leaving
The most important things are to have the ticket ready on your phone, check the current bag rules and choose your return method in advance. If using public transport, the final departures and any additional services should be checked. If arriving by car, it is useful to know the exact parking section and recommended approach route.
- Check the gate opening time when it is announced.
- Prepare the mobile ticket before reaching security screening.
- Do not bring a bag that exceeds the permitted dimensions.
- For public transport, check the return connection after the concert.
- For travel by car, check parking and traffic notices for the stadium area.
Seats are disappearing quickly. Good preparation is most noticeable before and after the music: less time in traffic and queues means more time for the full program, including Becky G and Karol G's complete stadium set.
