The walking route between Nyon station and the festival is illuminated and maintained, and the walk takes approximately half an hour. Bicycles cannot be taken onto the festival's NStCM shuttle trains.

Free car parks are available near the site, but their operation may depend on ground conditions and heavy rain. From the direction of Lausanne, the motorway exit at Gland is recommended, while from the direction of Geneva, the Nyon exit is recommended. After the final performance on the Grande Scène, a large number of vehicles leave at the same time, so delays when exiting the car parks are possible.

• For public transport, check the final connection from Nyon to your destination, not only the train to L'Asse.

• For the front section of the Grande Scène, arrive sufficiently early and avoid pushing through an already tightly packed audience.

Entry, payment and safety

Paléo is a cashless festival at its bars, stalls and restaurants. Standard cards and mobile payment methods are accepted, while cash can be exchanged for a festival prepaid card or wristband at designated locations.

In an open-air setting, visitors should expect temperature changes between the afternoon and the hours after midnight. Practical footwear is more important than festival appearance, especially after rain. A light layer of clothing for the later part of the evening and protection from the weather can make the stay considerably easier. Rules regarding permitted items should be checked immediately before departure, while animals, weapons, dangerous objects, drones and pyrotechnics are not allowed.

At some concerts, the sound level may reach 100 decibels. Earplugs are recommended and available free of charge at information points, festival shops and the campsite reception. Children should not be taken into the densest front section of the audience, where crowd pressure can be strong. Two first-aid stations operate on the site, and security staff can be recognised by their vests.

Tickets and a plan for the concert day

The 2026 edition of Paléo is sold out. The organiser nevertheless states that returned tickets reappear for sale and that an additional 1,500 one-day tickets for the same day are released every festival morning at 10:00. The virtual waiting room opens at 9:45, and purchases are limited to two tickets per order. These additional tickets are not sold at the festival site itself.

It is worth securing tickets in good time and not planning a journey on the assumption that they will be available at the entrance. Anyone who already has a ticket should check before departure that it is available offline, especially if it is stored only in an app or email.
