Trains to Newquay arrive via Par station from the directions of London Paddington, Bristol and Exeter, with the journey continuing by shuttle from the station. Taxis drop passengers off at Blue Gate. Parking is limited and should be booked in advance; on arrival, the traffic signs for Green Gate should be followed. Since Sunday is the final day of the festival, the return journey and a meeting point for the group should be arranged in advance.
Newquay, Watergate Bay and Fistral Beach are not the same location
Boardmasters takes place at two separate locations. The music arena and campsites are situated at Trebelsue Farm near Watergate Bay, while the surfing competitions, skate programme, beach bar and accompanying activities are held at Fistral Beach in Newquay. Fistral is open to the public from Wednesday to Sunday, but visiting it does not mean that you have reached the location of Carner's performance.
