CéAnne will perform on the Fábián Juli Stage at 18:30, Bin-Jip at 20:45 and Antonia Vai at 23:00, while other locations offer jazz, blues and instrumental programs. The time slots overlap, so visitors should return to the main stage sufficiently before 21:30.
Paloznaki Jazzpiknik as a concert location
Paloznaki Jazzpiknik has been held since 2012 and has developed from a small gathering in the courtyard of a local traditional house into a three-day festival with four stages and approximately 40 concerts. It is set in a wine-growing landscape above the northern shore of Lake Balaton, next to the small village of Paloznak. The organizers emphasize jazz, funk, soul and crossover performers, but the main program also regularly includes pop names whose performances fit the dance-oriented summer atmosphere.
The main stage is outdoors, beside a grassy area without the conventional seating arrangement of an indoor venue. This changes the way the concert is experienced. Earlier in the day, the audience spreads out more casually, while before the evening performances, the area in front of the stage fills up and becomes a dance zone. There is no published figure for a fixed capacity that could responsibly be stated, and the open festival grounds should not be compared with an arena or theater.
For the sound, it is important that Rick Astley performs on the main stage, which is intended for the festival's largest productions. Nevertheless, this is an open space, so the impression varies depending on the distance from the stage, speaker positions, the number of people and weather conditions. Those who prioritize a clearer view and more direct sound should arrive earlier, while visitors at the edges of the lawn will have more room to move and a more relaxed picnic experience.

The performance in Paloznak takes place two days after the concert at Tanzbrunnen in Cologne and is part of a limited series of summer European dates listed on Astley's current schedule. How to get to Paloznak
Paloznak is located near Balatonfüred and Csopak, on the northern side of Lake Balaton. The village does not have its own railway station, so the final part of the journey must be arranged by bus, festival transport, bicycle, taxi or car. Visitors arriving from other countries may find it useful to first plan their arrival in Budapest, Veszprém or one of the larger places along Balaton's northern shore, and then check the current local connection.
The festival has announced the Piknikbus between the venue and the towns of Balatonalmádi, Balatonfűzfő, Balatonfüred and Veszprém. The stops in Paloznak are located in the village center, on Balatoni Street and near the P3 car park. Separate transport from Budapest has also been announced: departure is at 15:00 from the BAH csomópont area, with the return at 01:00 from the intersection of Balatoni Street and Road 71. Since timetables may change for operational reasons, they should be checked again immediately before the journey.
Cyclists can reach the festival from the cycle path beside Road 71, followed by approximately eight minutes of uphill riding. This option is practical for visitors staying in nearby places, but returning after midnight requires appropriate lighting and caution.
Grass parking areas are designated for cars between Tó utca and Malom utca, as well as opposite the corner of Zrínyi utca and Határ utca. The traffic regime changes during the festival: stopping is prohibited on both sides of the Zrínyi utca - Balaton utca section, while Fő utca becomes one-way from Zrínyi utca toward Nagyhegyi utca. Arriving earlier reduces the risk of slow traffic through the small settlement and leaves enough time to walk to the entrance.
Entry, duration of the day and a practical plan
On Thursday, the festival is open from 17:00 to 01:00. The day ticket is valid for that festival day, not for the entire three-day edition. Astley's concert begins at 21:30, but the gates open and the other programs start earlier. The organizers have not announced the exact duration of his performance, so return transport should not be planned according to an assumed ending time for the concert.
It is practical to arrive before the evening crowds so that there is time for entry, food, water and choosing a place. The concert is outdoors, so visitors should follow the forecast and prepare for heat, possible rain and a cooler return after midnight. The rules regarding permitted items should be checked before departure.
Accommodation in Paloznak itself is limited by the size of the village. The organizers recommend also searching for options in nearby places connected by the Piknikbus. For international visitors, it is often more practical to book a base in Balatonfüred, Veszprém or another larger place, with the return journey after the end of the program arranged in advance.
Who will find the concert particularly appealing
This performance is a natural choice for an audience that wants to hear major pop choruses in a more relaxed festival setting. Long-time fans have an opportunity to see Astley during a period of active touring and new releases. Listeners of soul and melodic pop can discover a broader repertoire than the three best-known hits, while younger audiences receive context for a song that became a distinct internet phenomenon decades after its release.
The concert may particularly suit visitors for whom the performer's communication with the audience is important. Astley's recent performances are based on a strong band, humor between songs and clear choruses rather than a cold, choreographed distance. At the same time, those who want exclusively jazz should study the schedule of the other stages, because the main performance is primarily a pop concert with soul and dance elements.
