For visitors arriving by car from outside the city center, a more practical option may be to leave the vehicle near one of the stations and continue the final part of the journey by public transport.

The main arrival point for exchanging a ticket for a wristband at Suvilahti is located at Hanasaarenkatu 10. On Saturday, August 15, this point is open from 11:00 until midnight. Before entering, the ticket is exchanged for a personal wristband, and the exchange is not carried out at the main entrance. For single-day visitors who want to see more of Saturday's program, it makes sense to take care of the wristband earlier and avoid extra crowds before the evening performances.

The festival is intended for audiences aged 18 and over, so an identification document should be brought when exchanging the wristband. The festival also carries out a security check at the entrance.

Practical things worth knowing before entering

• One empty non-deposit bottle of up to 1 liter is permitted, but glass bottles are not allowed.
• Umbrellas are not allowed on the festival grounds, so a lightweight raincoat is more practical for changeable weather.

How to plan Saturday if Florence is the main reason for coming

The simplest plan is to separate the festival day from the concert itself. The day's 14:00 start does not mean you need to spend more than eight hours in front of the Main Stage.
