LOVESTREAM in Bratislava: a festival Sunday between pop, dance and drum & bass
LOVESTREAM returns to Staré letisko Vajnory from 7 to 9 August 2026 as a three-day open-air festival combining pop production with an electronic programme that continues until the early hours of the morning. The final day moves from Slovak rap and British soul to dancehall, American hip-hop, EDM and drum & bass.
Entry for visitors with a one-day Sunday ticket is scheduled from 13:00, while daily parking is available from 12:00. The programme takes place on the Main Stage and Electronic Stage, so attending LOVESTREAM is not like attending a traditional concert with one uninterrupted schedule, but rather a full day of moving between two different musical zones.
Tickets for this event are in demand. It is particularly important to check whether the selected ticket applies to Sunday, the entire festival, the VIP zone or one of the special categories.
A festival built around two different stages
LOVESTREAM's identity rests on a clear division. The Main Stage brings together artists whose repertoires cross the boundaries of a single genre and work in front of a large, diverse audience. The Electronic Stage has its own dynamics, longer DJ sets and a programme that continues deep into the night after the main concerts have ended.
On the same day, visitors can therefore hear Kali, Ella Eyre, Shaggy and Swae Lee, followed by Dimension and ESKEI83. The emphasis on the main stage is on recognisable songs and vocals, while the electronic zone builds continuity through house, progressive, melodic techno and drum & bass.
The location also shapes the festival. Staré letisko Vajnory is a large open area on the north-eastern edge of Bratislava. The site is not merely an empty festival plot: Vajnory is an important part of the city's aviation history. The first scheduled flight operated by the Czechoslovak airlines of the time, arriving from Prague, landed here on 29 October 1923. Today, the former runway gives the festival a broad horizon and enough space for two stages, a campsite, parking and accompanying zones.
Main programme of the final day
The Main Stage schedule begins with local rap and dance production before moving into soul-pop, reggae, hip-hop and an EDM finale.

Kali connects Slovak rap with melodic choruses, while Jaden Bojsen then shifts the focus towards contemporary house and EDM. His collaborations with David Guetta make him a logical introduction to the electronic character of the evening.
Ella Eyre brings British pop and soul, including songs associated with Rudimental and Sigala. Her performance creates a transition between the afternoon's dance energy and an evening programme based on artists with a series of internationally recognisable singles.
Shaggy's slot from 19:15 to 20:15 brings reggae and dancehall through songs such as "Boombastic", "Angel" and "It Wasn't Me". His discography works well in a festival setting because it combines Jamaican rhythm, pop structure and choruses recognised by audiences of different generations. The album "Boombastic" won the Grammy for Best Reggae Album, and his festival set represents a genre departure from the EDM backbone of the final day.
Swae Lee performs from 20:45 to 21:30. As a member of the duo Rae Sremmurd and an artist associated with the songs "Unforgettable" and "Sunflower", he introduces melodic hip-hop, trap and R&B into the programme. "Sunflower", a collaboration with Post Malone from the film "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse", is one of the key songs in his solo profile and an important reason why his performance also attracts audiences beyond the traditional rap circle.
David Guetta closes the festival's main arc. His catalogue includes "Titanium", "When Love Takes Over", "Memories", "Hey Mama" and a series of collaborations that brought EDM closer to radio pop. His performance is not merely another DJ slot: it is the main closing block on a stage that has moved through rap, soul, reggae and hip-hop during the day. This breadth is precisely what explains how LOVESTREAM differs from festivals focused solely on one electronic subgenre.
Visitors arriving primarily for the evening names should allow time for the security check, wristband collection and walking through the large festival grounds before the desired performance.
The Electronic Stage continues when the main stage quietens down
The Electronic Stage is not a secondary addition but a parallel programme with its own highlights. The published times show how the sound changes from melodic drum & bass and progressive house towards a more powerful late-night drum & bass finale.

DJ MOTO brings dancefloor and melodic drum & bass, SYNTHETIK moves into melodic techno and progressive house, while SOFYANA builds a dance block through house and funky groove. EKG B2B EMTYDEE continue with a joint-set format, a characteristic of much of the electronic programme: a series of artists perform in B2B combinations, allowing the selection to develop as a dialogue between two DJs rather than as strictly separated concerts.
The late-night section has a different profile. Dimension performs from 00:10 to 01:25. His modern drum & bass combines powerful production with melodic songwriting, while songs such as "Desire", recorded with Sub Focus, helped him move from the club scene to major festival stages. ESKEI83 takes over the finale from 01:25 to 03:00 with a faster set, mashups and an emphasis on DJ techniques.
The line-up also includes JOHNNY DE CITY vs. SVONCO, AHOJ NICOL vs. PHOBIQ, JAY PE vs. KIRAAN, KNNY vs. PRISTAGE, BOSY vs. KARMA, ShoutOut2Niki, COBY B2B MISODURICA, DJ DKO, EM G B2B Adam Lavier and Mvtthew B2B DAJANA. Because of the parallel programme, it is worth choosing priorities in advance.
One-day, festival and VIP tickets do not provide the same experience
The one-day Sunday ticket allows entry only during the final day, from the opening of the entrance until the site closes at 03:00 on Monday. The festival pass is valid for all three days. Categories for children and people with disabilities are also available, while camping and parking require separately selected options.
A VIP ticket changes the way visitors use the site. The VIP zone includes the option of standing in the grandstand, a separated area below the stage, dedicated food and drink points with more comfortable seating and separate toilets. Food and drinks are not included in the VIP ticket itself. VIP parking is also not automatically included with VIP entry but is a separate category intended exclusively for holders of the corresponding ticket.
Children under the age of three may enter free of charge, while children aged three to seven require a children's ticket and must be accompanied by an adult. Special tickets are available for people with a valid disability card, along with access through the main entrance, a designated platform for visitors with reduced mobility and accessible toilets.
Getting to Staré letisko Vajnory
The address of the site is Pri starom letisku in the Vajnory city district. The festival recommends arriving by public transport to the OC Vajnory stop, by car with parking secured in advance, by taxi or by bicycle. A direct bus connection from the Nivy bus station has also been announced for the festival days, with several afternoon departures towards Vajnory.
Night return buses are planned via the Rača, Bajkalská, Trnavské mýto, Hlavná stanica and Nivy stops. Departure times should be checked immediately before travelling because the transport schedule is linked to the end of the programme.
For visitors arriving by car on Sunday, the parking area opens at 12:00 and remains available until 12:00 on Monday. It is located within the festival grounds and has limited capacity. Separate categories exist for standard vehicles, VIP vehicles and motorcycles, while sleeping in a car or van is not permitted with an ordinary parking ticket. Such a stay requires the CAMPING + PARKING or CARAVAN PARKING category.
Vajnory is not a central city district, so visitors travelling from the historic centre should allow enough time for the journey. The return trip after 03:00 should be planned before entering the festival, rather than only after the final set.
Wristbands, re-entry and rules on permitted items
A security check is carried out at the entrance. After a valid ticket has been scanned, the visitor receives a non-transferable festival wristband with a QR code. The wristband must be worn throughout the entire stay. It allows visitors to leave and re-enter through the main entrance, with another security check upon returning.
The most important rules for a one-day visit can be summarised in several specific points:
- the permitted bag must not be larger than A3 format, or approximately 13 litres
- visitors may not bring their own food and drinks onto the site
- glass containers, cans, plastic bottles, pyrotechnics and weapons are prohibited
- umbrellas, folding chairs, party tents, selfie sticks and laser pointers are not permitted
- professional recording equipment is not permitted without accreditation, while mobile phones are allowed
- a cloakroom is provided for larger items, while the number of lockers is limited
These rules are particularly important for travellers arriving directly from a railway station or airport. A large travel bag will not be allowed into the concert zone, so accommodation or cloakroom arrangements should be made before the security check.
Camping, food and activities between performances
Camping, drinking-water points, medical services, food stands, relaxation zones, an amusement park and other activities have been announced for the site. The food selection includes hamburgers, roasted and grilled meat, salads, pasta, pizza, fresh juices and Slovak and international dishes. Because visitors are not allowed to bring their own food and drinks, the food zone is not merely an addition but a practical part of an all-day stay.
The campsite is intended for visitors with the corresponding camping category. Visitors bring their own tent to the PUBLIC CAMPSITE, while an ordinary parking ticket does not permit an overnight stay in a vehicle. Camping zones have toilets, showers and supervision, and drinking water is also available on the site.
There are no general grandstands or reserved seats in the main festival area. The audience moves freely across the large open space, except in zones requiring a special ticket category. This means that first-time visitors should plan breaks, locate relaxation zones and expect more walking than at a traditional stadium concert.
Ticket sales for this event are under way. The one-day Sunday option is best suited to visitors attracted by the combination of David Guetta, Shaggy, Swae Lee, Ella Eyre and late-night drum & bass, while the three-day pass makes sense for audiences who also want the pop programme on the preceding days.
What experience can first-time visitors expect?
LOVESTREAM brings together audiences with different genre interests: from local rap and dance to pop, reggae, hip-hop, club electronics and drum & bass. The atmosphere therefore changes through several clearly defined stages.
The best strategy is not to try to see every performance. It is more reasonable to choose several priorities on the Main Stage, one longer block on the Electronic Stage and leave time for entry, food, rest and the return journey. Particular attention should be paid to the transition after Swae Lee towards David Guetta's closing performance and to the late-night combination of Dimension and ESKEI83.
It is worth securing tickets in good time and checking the schedule, transport and entry rules again before travelling, as the festival's operational information may be updated in the days immediately before the site opens.
