The Weeknd at PGE Narodowy: a stadium night between darkness, neon and huge pop choruses
The Weeknd is coming to Warszawa with the "After Hours Til Dawn" tour, a project that since 2022 has grown from an album promotion into an overview of an entire period of his career. The concert at PGE Narodowy is scheduled for August 4, 2026, at 17:00, and a second performance at the same stadium will take place the very next evening. The addition of another date shows the level of interest surrounding his return to the city where he also performed on the same stage in 2023.

Instead of simply repeating the "Blinding Lights" formula, the album feels like a long final scene in which Tesfaye re-examines his own public persona.
The song "Timeless", a collaboration between The Weeknd and Playboi Carti, is especially important for the concert. Because Playboi Carti performs before the headliner on the European leg of the tour, that shared material gains additional weight. PGE Narodowy has more than 58,000 seats in the stands, while the concert configuration can accommodate up to approximately 80,000 visitors, depending on the arrangement of the stage and floor area. The retractable roof allows adaptation to weather conditions, but its position depends on the operational plan for the event. The floor area provides greater physical proximity to the performer and the runway, while the upper stands offer an overview of the entire scenery, lighting and movement of the audience.
When it comes to sound, the nature of the stadium should be taken into account. The distance from the main sound systems and the position in relation to the roof can affect vocal clarity and the amount of echo. Visitors who are sensitive to volume should bring earplugs, especially if they are close to the speakers or on the floor.

Playboi Carti has been confirmed for the European and British dates of the tour. His performance brings a different type of intensity: less melodic nostalgia, more bass, short vocal phrases and the energy of contemporary trap. For an audience coming primarily for The Weeknd, this means that the evening begins with a harder sound than at a conventional pop concert.
The connection between the two performers is not merely organizational. Return to Warszawa
The Weeknd performed at PGE Narodowy on August 9, 2023, during an earlier phase of the same tour. The 2026 return is not simply a repetition. In the meantime, "Hurry Up Tomorrow" has been released, the program has been expanded with new songs, and the European production has received a new version of Sorayama's sculpture. The audience that attended the 2023 concert can therefore expect a recognizable foundation, but a different musical and visual context.
Two consecutive dates place Warszawa among the cities where the tour remains for more than one evening. PGE Narodowy thus becomes an important destination in this part of Europe, attracting audiences from Poland, neighbouring countries and travellers who combine the concert with a stay in the city.
For long-time fans, the greatest attraction is the possibility of hearing early, darker material and global pop hits during the same evening. The wider audience gets a concert with a large number of familiar choruses, even without detailed knowledge of the albums. Production enthusiasts will probably appreciate most the way in which the entire stadium is transformed into a single visual image.
Getting to PGE Narodowy
The stadium is located at al. Księcia J. Poniatowskiego 1, on the eastern side of the Vistula, near the Praga district. Its location is very convenient for public transport, which is important when tens of thousands of visitors are moving towards the same venue.

- Tram or bus to the Rondo Waszyngtona stop.
- Arrival on foot across the Poniatowskiego Bridge, allowing for crowds and temporary traffic restrictions.
PGE Narodowy has 11 external entrance gates. The entrance number and sector shown on the ticket should be checked before arrival because walking around the stadium can take time. After leaving the metro or train, visitors should immediately head towards the indicated side of the venue.
Arriving by car involves more uncertainty. On days of mass events, parking rules, available areas and entrances are announced separately, while surrounding streets may be closed or redirected. The underground car park has limited availability during large events, so public transport is usually the simpler option.
The concert ticket itself does not automatically include free travel on city transport services. Such a benefit applies only when it has been specifically announced for a particular event. A practical plan for the concert day
For a stadium event, it is advisable to allow more time than for an indoor concert. Entrance control, bag checks and walking around the venue can slow down arrival even when public transport is operating without problems. The safest option is to reach the wider stadium area early enough to find the gate, sector and seat without rushing.
Not all operational information has yet been published, so rules concerning bag dimensions, bringing in food and drinks, bottles, chargers, banners and photographic equipment should not be copied from other events. Checking before departure reduces the risk of items having to be left at the entrance.
It is useful to prepare:

Warszawa as a concert city for travellers
PGE Narodowy is located beside the Vistula, so a concert visit can easily be combined with a walk along the river or exploration of the Praga district. The western bank offers landscaped promenades and views towards the stadium, while the eastern side has greener parts of the riverbank and a different rhythm from the city's business centre.
Travellers arriving through Chopin Airport can use buses and the SKM and Koleje Mazowieckie trains to reach the city centre. Continuing towards Stadion Narodowy is simple by M2 metro or by railway towards Warszawa Stadion. Modlin Airport is located considerably farther away, so a return journey should not be planned too close to the end of the concert.
For accommodation, it is not necessary to choose a hotel immediately beside the stadium. Areas along the M2 line, including Śródmieście, Powiśle and parts of Praga, provide easy access. After the concert, the greatest challenge is not the distance but the simultaneous departure of a large audience. A short walk to the next station or a pause before entering the metro can sometimes be more pleasant than waiting in the first wave of the crowd.
