Hurry Up Tomorrow was released on January 31, 2025, and presented as the final part of the trilogy that began with the 2020 album After Hours and continued with the 2022 album Dawn FM. At the concert in Amsterdam in mid-July, approximately two hours of The Weeknd's performance were recorded, but the duration in Frankfurt should not be treated as guaranteed based on another city. The local schedule lists the start of the entire program at 18:30 and an expected finish at around 23:00, including the opening act, stage changes and the main performance.
Playboi Carti as the confirmed opening act
Playboi Carti brings experimental trap, a more aggressive rhythm and a performance style that creates a clear contrast with The Weeknd's more precisely shaped pop and R&B repertoire. The evening therefore does not begin with a quiet warm-up, but with a separate performance by an artist who has his own highly engaged audience.
Timeless connects the two artists, and Timeless and RATHER LIE have been performed together at some concerts on the current leg. A joint appearance in Frankfurt has not been separately confirmed and should not be assumed in advance to be a mandatory part of the evening.
The 18:30 start refers to the concert program and not necessarily to the main artist's appearance. Arriving after that time may mean missing the opening act and entering the stadium during the longest queues.

Schedule and entrances
The following key information has been published for the concert:
- 16:00: Early Entry for visitors with the appropriate ticket.
- 16:30: opening of the stadium grounds and entrances E1 to E5.
- 18:30: start of the concert program.
- Around 23:00: expected finish, subject to possible operational changes.
Arriving immediately before 18:30 is not practical. Visitors must pass through security, find the entrance indicated on the ticket and reach their section. At stadium concerts, approaching from the wrong side can add a considerable amount of walking, especially when corridors are directed toward specific entrances.
Card and cash payments are available at the venue, but individual points of sale may accept only one option.
How to get there by public transport
Public transport is the simplest option because heavier traffic is expected around the stadium. S7, S8 and S9 trains run from Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof to Frankfurt Stadion station, and the journey takes approximately six minutes. From the station, the stadium is about a 10- to 15-minute walk away, with entrance E4 being the closest.
Tram lines 20 and 21 run toward the Stadion stop. Additional services have been announced for the concert, and the walk to entrance E1 takes approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Bus lines 61 and 80 connect the area between the airport and Frankfurt Südbahnhof, with passengers getting off at Stadionbad or Osttribüne.
Many tickets for events at Deutsche Bank Park include an RMV KombiTicket for the outward and return journey within the network. The marking should be checked on the individual ticket, because transport inclusion must not be assumed.
Car, parking and bicycle
Parking in the immediate vicinity of the stadium is possible only with a permit secured in advance. Without a prior reservation, there is no regular parking around Deutsche Bank Park. Some parking zones are between one and three kilometers away, so even after parking, visitors should plan to walk or take a short public transport journey.
The Kiss & Ride zone at Waldparkplatz is available from 14:30, but waiting time is limited. There are 1,060 bicycle spaces around the stadium, although the Bikepoint by the main entrance will not operate on the day of the event.
Entry rules and age restrictions
Small bags and pouches up to A4 size are permitted. Larger backpacks, travel bags, baskets and cool bags are not allowed. Bottles and cans are prohibited, while one unopened Tetra Pak containing up to 0.5 liters of a non-alcoholic drink is permitted per person.
Professional cameras with interchangeable or zoom lenses are not permitted. Phones, small pocket cameras with fixed lenses and GoPro cameras without mounts or sticks are generally allowed. Selfie sticks, tripods, large umbrellas, laptops and tablets are among the prohibited items.
Children under six years of age cannot enter, even when accompanied by an adult. Children and young people up to the age of 16 need parental permission and must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or authorized adult, with written confirmation presented upon entry.
Visitors without a bag, or with only a small bag, pass through most quickly, especially when they have their ticket ready on their phone and a fully charged battery. A small portable battery is permitted.
Frankfurt during the concert weekend
Frankfurt is well connected by international flights and rail, making it practical for audiences from different countries. The stadium is located between the city center and the airport, but a considerable time buffer should still be allowed on the day of the concert.
The Main Festival is taking place during the same weekend, from July 31 to August 3, with a program along the banks of the River Main. This may increase visitor numbers in the center, restaurants and public transport. Travelers staying overnight should arrange accommodation early and should not expect to move quickly through the city by car after the concert.
Sightseeing in the center is best completed earlier in the afternoon, followed by departure for the stadium before the gates open at 16:30.
Who will find the concert most appealing
Long-time fans receive a cross-section of more than a decade of music, including early material alongside the biggest hits. Audience members who know only the radio singles will hear enough recognizable songs to follow the central parts of the evening. Fans of contemporary hip-hop also receive a separate performance by Playboi Carti.
The concert is particularly interesting for those who appreciate album-based dramaturgy, transitions between songs and visual identity rather than merely a sequence of separate hits. It will be less suitable for visitors seeking intimate club-style contact with the artist, because Deutsche Bank Park is a venue of stadium proportions.
What to check before departure
The day before the concert, visitors should check their entrance, section and the activation method for the mobile ticket again. It is also worth confirming whether the ticket contains an RMV KombiTicket, choosing a departure station and saving the return route because the mobile network may be congested after the event finishes.
It is useful to bring hearing protection, a small permitted bag, a charged phone and clothing suitable for the weather. Because large umbrellas are not allowed, a lightweight raincoat is more practical in case of rain. Food and drinks are available inside the stadium, while bringing in personal food is not permitted.
Ticket sales for this event are in progress. It is worth securing tickets in good time and then planning transport as carefully as the choice of seats, because the final Frankfurt night will place heavy pressure on the stadium infrastructure and city traffic.
