Experience Tomorrowland, the electronic music festival filling De Schorre in Boom on 19 July 2026 with stages from the Mainstage to CORE. Plan your arrival, wristband, transport and must-see sets, then prepare your ticket purchase for a full festival day
Tomorrowland in Boom: guide to the final day of the first weekend
On July 19, 2026, Tomorrowland takes over Provinciaal Recreatiedomein De Schorre in the Belgian town of Boom for the final day of the festival's first weekend. The program begins at 12:00, and the festival's Sunday operations end at midnight. A one-day ticket is valid only for that day, so planning is more important than at festivals with a single stage: dozens of sets take place across the site at the same time, and moving from CORE's woodland setting to the monumental Mainstage can completely change the rhythm of the visit.
The theme of the 2026 edition is called "Consciencia". Tomorrowland does not treat it as a simple visual slogan, but as a framework for the stage design, musical transitions and the story connecting the different parts of the site. It is precisely this combination of electronic music, stage architecture and festival storytelling that represents the main difference between Tomorrowland and a conventional series of open-air DJ performances.
Tickets for this event were in exceptionally high demand, and the 2026 edition is sold out. Visitors who already have a Day Pass should check the activation of their wristband, the name on the registration and their return plan after midnight before arriving.
A festival that grew from a one-day event into a global destination
The first Tomorrowland was held in 2005 as a one-day festival with 9,000 visitors. Today's format extends across two weekends, brings together an audience from more than 200 countries and distributes hundreds of performers across more than 15 stages. Its growth has not changed its fundamental idea: electronic music forms the core, but the experience is built through meticulously designed worlds, distinct stage identities and the feeling that visitors are not simply attending a concert, but entering a temporary city.
The audience is highly international, and the musical range extends from Mainstage house to hard techno, trance, hardstyle, drum & bass and bass music. First-time visitors should accept that it is impossible to see everything: a plan with several key performances and room for spontaneous discovery is better.
The main musical directions of the final day
Sunday's Mainstage begins with the DISCOVERY program, followed by Hannah Laing, Karakals, Malugi, Kevin de Vries and B Jones. The slot from 19:40 to 20:40 is marked as "SURPRISE", with no performer name announced. The closing sequence features John Summit from 20:40, Alesso from 21:45 and Calvin Harris from 22:50 to 23:50. Harris's performance stands out in particular because he is returning to Tomorrowland's festival world after performing at TomorrowWorld in 2013, and this will be his first Mainstage appearance at the Belgian edition.
The Mainstage is not the only logical way to end the day. The program is structured so that different genres have their own climax:
- Freedom by Bud: Pegassi leads the program from 18:30, Chase & Status perform in DJ format from 20:00, ALOK presents "Rave The World" from 21:00, and I Hate Models closes the stage from 22:00 to 23:30.
- Atmosphere: Sunday is oriented toward harder techno. After VE/RA, Blondex, SHDW b2b ÜBERKIKZ and Øtta, Anetha follows from 20:30 and Amelie Lens from 22:30 to 23:55.
- CORE: the woodland stage offers longer sets and a different pace. Sedef Adasï performs from 18:00, Avalon Emerson b2b Ben UFO from 20:00, and Job Jobse from 22:00 to 23:50.
- The Great Library: the program moves from Gabry Ponte, MATTN and Blasterjaxx toward Gryffin, a Dimitri Vegas b2b Timmy Trumpet set, Afrojack and the closing performance by Vini Vici.
- The Rose Garden: the hardstyle lineup consists of Adrenalize, TNT, Rooler, Isaac, Rebelion, Pat B, Sub Zero Project and The Saints.
- Planaxis: bass fans can follow Nostalgix, LEVEL UP, Arcando, Malaa's Alter Ego, Liquid Stranger, Seven Lions and Subtronics.
Crystal Garden offers another alternative to the major finales. DJ Gigola performs from 19:30, Oscar and the Wolf from 21:00, and DJ Tennis b2b Vintage Culture from 22:00 to 23:30. This breadth shows why Tomorrowland cannot be reduced to an EDM Mainstage: within a few minutes' walk, the audience can move from melodic house to hard techno, trance, hardstyle or a more experimental club program.
Places disappeared quickly, and the schedule is dense enough that even visitors with tickets should mark their priorities in advance. The most practical plan has one main evening objective, two backup options and enough time to move between zones.
De Schorre is not a neutral festival meadow
Provinciaal Recreatiedomein De Schorre was once a clay quarry connected to the local brick industry. Today, it is a green recreational area with slopes, bodies of water, woodland sections and traces of its industrial past. Such topography gives the festival a character that cannot simply be transferred to a flat airport site.
The Mainstage uses a wide open area, CORE is located in a greener and more intimate setting, while Crystal Garden and Planaxis rely on water and natural transitions. The terrain includes climbs, descents and long distances, so comfortable footwear and a meeting point agreed upon in advance are important. Adapted routes, accessible toilets and a lift at the main entrance are available.
Ticket types, the Comfort zone and DreamVille
A Day Pass provides entry on one selected festival day. A Full Madness Pass is valid for the entire weekend, while Comfort variants add access to separate zones and facilities connected to specific stages. Accommodation packages include a Full Madness Pass and lodging, while Global Journey combines a ticket, accommodation and organized transport from different cities.
A one-day ticket for July 19 does not automatically include a stay at DreamVille. It is a separate festival campsite with its own accommodation types, ranging from space for personal camping equipment in Magnificent Greens to Easy Tents, Camp2Camp, Friendship Garden and the more comfortable Montagoe. DreamVille has a Marketplace with food, shops, a bakery and additional services, as well as a Chill Out Area with sports and relaxation facilities.
One specific distinction is important for Sunday visitors: checking in at DreamVille on Sunday is not possible. The campsite is intended for guests with an appropriate weekend package who checked in earlier. The Gathering, the open introductory party for DreamVille guests, takes place on Thursday and is not part of the one-day Sunday program.
Entry, wristband and the no-re-entry rule
The festival operates on Sunday from 12:00 to 00:00. Check-in closes at 21:00, and entry is not permitted after that time, even with a valid ticket. The wristband must be linked to a ticket registered in the visitor's name.
After leaving the festival site, returning on the same day is not possible. This applies to both Day Passes and multi-day wristbands. Before entering, visitors should therefore check that they have their identification document, activated wristband, phone and all permitted personal belongings at hand. Going to a car or accommodation in the middle of the day effectively means the end of the festival visit.
Tomorrowland is a cashless festival. The wristband serves as the admission ticket and the only means of paying for food and drinks, using the festival currency called Pearls. Topping it up in advance reduces delays upon arrival, and unused funds are subject to the refund rules after the festival.
What to bring and what to leave at your accommodation
Entry checks may take longer if a bag contains items that are not permitted. Visitors may not bring their own food and drinks, glass, cans, plastic bottles, liquids, aerosols, drones, weapons, pyrotechnics or semi-professional or professional photography equipment onto the festival site. Medication is permitted with a medical certificate.
Practical preparation for a one-day visit looks like this:
- an activated wristband and personal identification document
- a phone with the schedule saved in advance and an agreed meeting point
- a small permitted bag without food, drinks or prohibited containers
- comfortable footwear for several hours of walking on uneven terrain
- a medical certificate if medication needs to be brought in
Lockers are available in different sizes and can be reserved in advance. Toilets on the festival site are free, refreshment zones are available, and phone charging is offered for a fee. First-aid teams and a doctor are present during operating hours.
The age limit is 18. People born in 2008 may enter even if their 18th birthday falls after the festival, while people born in 2009 or later are not granted access, even when accompanied by an adult.
Food, drinks and breaks between stages
Food at Tomorrowland is not limited to a single central zone. Stands and experiences are distributed across the site, allowing visitors to fit a break into their movement plan. Additional culinary programs are available for 2026, including the Tomorrowland Dining Experience, Brasa BBQ Experience and Belgian Classics Experience. Such reservations do not include a festival ticket and should be viewed as a separate addition to existing access.
The Tomorrowland Dining Experience connects its menu with the "Consciencia" theme and a view toward the Mainstage, while Brasa is located between the Planaxis and Celestia stages. Visitors without a reserved experience can still use the festival's food & drink points, with all payments made using the wristband.
An earlier meal break reduces the risk of missing an evening set. Because bottles cannot be brought in from outside, the locations for drinks and available water should be checked immediately after entry.
How to get to Boom
Boom is located between Antwerp and Brussels. For international visitors, a larger city with better rail and hotel connections may be a practical base, but the late-night return should be planned before departure.
- Train from Antwerp: the walk from Boom station to the festival site takes approximately 20 minutes. Additional night trains run to Antwerpen-Centraal after every festival day, without onward connections to other cities.
- Bus from Mechelen: the direct public route takes approximately 45 minutes, with additional departures after the end of the program.
- Transport from Brussels: return festival shuttle services are available and must be reserved in advance.
- Bicycle: free supervised bicycle parking is available near the entrance, and Park & Bike locations are available for visitors arriving by car and continuing by bicycle.
- Car: the area is located between the E19 and A12 motorways. Because of road closures, visitors should follow the temporary signage for Tomorrowland and the festival parking areas rather than relying only on GPS.
- Taxi and Kiss & Ride: drop-off and pick-up take place in a designated zone where parking is not permitted.
A set ending at 23:50 does not mean that a visitor will be at the station or taxi zone by midnight. The departure of the crowd and controlled traffic extend the journey, so extra time should be allowed.
How to create a realistic plan for one day
A good one-day plan does not try to cover the entire festival. Arriving early provides time for entry and orientation, the middle of the day is suitable for more distant stages, and the evening requires clear decisions because of schedule overlaps.
A visitor who wants the Calvin Harris finale can explore CORE or The Great Library earlier, then return toward the Mainstage before John Summit and Alesso. Techno fans can remain at Atmosphere for Anetha and Amelie Lens, while the combination of ALOK and I Hate Models leads toward Freedom. The bass program at Planaxis ends with Seven Lions and Subtronics, while hardstyle fans can finish the day with Sub Zero Project and The Saints at The Rose Garden.
Enough time should be left to move between two desired sets. The festival application offers a personalized timetable, a map and current notifications, making it useful for a final check before entry.
For future editions, it is advisable to secure tickets on time. For visitors who already have a ticket for the final day of the first weekend, the most important elements are an activated wristband, confirmed return transport and a schedule that leaves enough room for unexpected discoveries between the stages.
