Tomorrowland in Boom: the world of "Consciencia" between music, scenography and open space
Tomorrowland returns to Provinciaal Recreatiedomein De Schorre in Boom with its second festival weekend, running from Friday, July 24, to Sunday, July 26. The program begins at 12:00, and for visitors with a ticket valid for two days, the most important thing is to check in advance which days are listed on the confirmation and wristband. The published festival categories include a one-day Day Pass and a Full Madness Pass for the entire weekend, so access is always determined by the exact type of ticket purchased.
The 2026 edition carries the theme "Consciencia". This is not merely the name of the Mainstage decoration, but a framework through which the festival connects music, storytelling, architecture and movement through the space. The Mainstage is more than 43 meters high and 140 meters wide, with 56 lasers, 38 fountains and two waterfalls. At the center of the structure are six monumental heads representing the six fundamental emotions from the world of "Consciencia". The festival expects around 400,000 visitors over two weekends, from more than 200 countries.
Tickets for this event are in high demand. Before traveling, visitors should check the name linked to the ticket, wristband activation and the days for which access is valid.
What makes Tomorrowland different from other electronic music festivals
Tomorrowland does not build its experience around only a few major names. Its identity emerges from a combination of numerous stages, distinct musical curation and scenography that guides visitors from one sonic world to another. The 2026 edition brings together more than 500 artists across 16 stages. This means that, on the same day, visitors can move between Mainstage EDM, progressive house, techno, hardstyle, trance, Afro House and more intimate club sets.
Atmosphere is focused on techno, while Melodia presents a program entirely dedicated to Afro House for the first time, featuring names such as Da Capo, Caiiro and Enoo Napa. First-time visitors get the most from the experience when they choose several key performances but leave time for smaller stages and exploring the grounds.
Friday program on the Mainstage
Friday, July 24, opens the second weekend with a combination of house, melodic techno, trance influences and major closing sets. The festival gates open at 12:00, while the Mainstage program begins later in the afternoon.

The schedule gradually moves from a daytime house rhythm toward more powerful evening sets. Miss Monique and Kölsch bring the melodic side of the program, Indira Paganotto delivers psychedelic techno, while Steve Angello and Hardwell provide the final festival impact.
On Fridays, the festival operates until 01:00. Visitors must enter no later than 22:00. After leaving the festival grounds, re-entry on the same day is not permitted, even with a multi-day wristband, so the decision to leave should be made carefully.
Saturday program on the Mainstage
Saturday, July 25, brings a more pronounced transition between house, melodic techno, hardstyle, trance and a final pop-EDM block. The program begins again at 12:00, and entry closes at 22:00.

Saturday's sequence moves from house and melodic techno into hardstyle and trance. Sub Zero Project raises the intensity before Armin van Buuren, while Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Calvin Harris lead the closing section.
Space fills up quickly in limited-capacity areas, especially before evening performances. For popular sets on smaller stages, it is wise to arrive earlier and avoid planning a transfer during the final few minutes.
De Schorre and the open-air festival experience
Tomorrowland takes place in the De Schorre recreational area in Boom, between Antwerp and Brussels. The site is neither a conventional city stadium nor a single enclosed concert field. Stages, walkways, hospitality areas, installations and rest zones are distributed across a broad area, so the festival is experienced by walking and through constant changes of atmosphere.
The "Consciencia" Mainstage is the largest visual landmark. During the day, the details of the scenography are easier to see, while at night the lighting, lasers and fountains transform the entire space. It is useful to agree on one clear meeting point in advance because the mobile network can become overloaded after major sets.
Tickets, wristbands and differences between areas
Tomorrowland uses the wristband as both the admission ticket and the only means of paying for food and drinks at the festival and in DreamVille. Before arrival, the wristband must be activated and linked to personal information. Funds are added in the Pearls currency, and any unused amount, with the exception of bonus Pearls, can be requested back after the festival according to the published procedure.
The main access categories differ according to duration and level of included services:
- A Day Pass allows entry for one specified festival day.
- A Full Madness Pass provides access throughout the entire weekend.
- Comfort options include access to additional areas listed with the specific ticket.
- Accommodation packages include a Full Madness Pass and the selected DreamVille option.

If a ticket is valid for two days, visitors should rely on the days listed on the confirmation and wristband. It is advisable to secure tickets in good time and verify all information before departure.
Entry, opening hours and the no-return rule for the same day
The second weekend runs from Friday through Sunday. Friday and Saturday operate from 12:00 to 01:00, while Sunday operates from 12:00 to 00:00. Entry on Friday and Saturday is possible until 22:00, and on Sunday until 21:00. After those times, access is refused even with a valid wristband.
The most important rule for daily planning is the prohibition on re-entry during the same day. Once a visitor leaves Tomorrowland, they cannot return until the following day if they have a Full Madness Pass. Re-entry is also not possible with a Day Pass. Medication, hearing protection, necessary clothing and personal belongings should therefore be brought at the first entry, within the permitted rules.
Visitors should expect wristband and bag-content checks at the entrance. Only small bags and small backpacks are allowed. Prohibited items include personal food and drinks, glass, cans, plastic bottles, liquids, aerosols, pyrotechnics, drones, weapons and semi-professional or professional photographic equipment. Medication may be brought in with a medical certificate. Deodorant and perfume containers must not exceed 100 ml.
How to get to the festival
Boom is connected with larger Belgian cities by train, bus and festival shuttle services. The route should be selected according to the accommodation location, and the return journey should be planned before entering the festival.
- From Antwerp, traveling by train to Boom station is recommended. The walk from the station to the festival grounds takes around 20 minutes.
- After each festival day, additional night trains operate to Antwerpen-Centraal, without onward connections to other cities.
- From Brussels, return shuttle buses are available and drop passengers near the main entrance.
- From Mechelen, there is a direct bus service, with an approximate journey time of 45 minutes and additional departures after the festival.
- City Shuttles connect several cities in Belgium and selected cities in the Netherlands.
- Free supervised bicycle parking areas are provided near Tomorrowland and DreamVille.
Passengers arriving by train must purchase their tickets in advance because they are not sold on site. Those arriving by car should follow the road signs for "Tomorrowland" and "Parking Festival", rather than navigation instructions during the final part of the journey, because roadblocks and special traffic routes are introduced during the festival. Festival parking does not allow vehicles to be left overnight and is not valid for DreamVille parking.
DreamVille: more than a place to sleep
DreamVille is the festival campsite and a separate part of the experience. For the second weekend, it opens on Thursday, July 23. Entry on Thursday is possible from 11:00 at both entrances, throughout Friday, and until 12:00 on Saturday at both entrances. After 12:00 on Saturday, only Entrance 1 on Nachtegaalstraat is used. New check-ins are not possible on Sunday, and all guests must leave the campsite by 12:00 on Monday.
The Gathering, an open welcome party for DreamVille guests, takes place on Thursday and introduces the audience to the festival weekend. DreamVille includes a Marketplace with shops, food, a supermarket, a bakery and other practical amenities. The Chill Out Area provides space for rest, sports and activities such as yoga and padel.
Accommodation options include Magnificent Greens for guests bringing their own equipment, Camp2Camp, Friendship Garden, Easy Tents and the more comfortable Montagoe. Access to DreamVille is included only in the appropriate package.
Food, lockers and practical facilities
Food & drink areas are available throughout the festival grounds, while additional reserved culinary programs are offered, such as Brasa BBQ Experience, Tomorrowland Dining Experience and Belgian Classics Experience. These experiences require a separate reservation and do not replace the festival ticket.
Lockers are available in one-day and three-day options. A three-day locker allows belongings to remain inside overnight, while access is possible only during Tomorrowland's opening hours. The site also includes free toilets, refreshment areas, first-aid points, information points and paid phone-charging stations. Free earplugs are available at the Info Point and First Aid locations in DreamVille.
For a full-day visit, hearing protection, a small bag and a schedule saved in advance are useful. Everything should comply with the rules governing permitted items.
What first-time visitors can expect
The audience is international, and the smaller stages often offer a more clearly defined sound than the Mainstage. The best plan is not to try to see everything, but to combine familiar artists, exploration and rest. Before leaving, visitors should check whether their day is truly over because returning on the same day is not possible, and it is useful to save return-transport details offline.
