Untold Festival 2026 takes place from August 6 to 9 in Cluj-Napoca, and a one-day ticket for August 9 opens the final chapter of the four-day program. After its first decade, the festival presents itself under the name UNTOLD ONE: a major stadium production in Cluj Arena is connected with electronic stages, smaller music venues, and zones spread throughout Central Park.
For a visitor arriving only on the final day, the breadth of the program is crucial. On the same night, pop-rap, radio-friendly dance music, house, techno, drum and bass, and a concert format based on live instruments come together. The essence of the experience lies in moving between the stadium, park paths, and specialized spaces, while consciously choosing several performances that take priority.
Tickets for this event are in demand. It is worth securing a ticket in time and immediately checking whether it is specifically linked to the fourth, Sunday festival day.
What makes UNTOLD ONE stand out
UNTOLD began in Cluj-Napoca in 2015 and, after its very first edition, won the Best Major European Festival award at the European Festival Awards. Its identity is based on the combination of city and festival: the main program is not located in a remote field, but in a sports stadium and a large public park close to the historic center.
The UNTOLD ONE concept emphasizes a new beginning after ten editions. Stage design, narrative stage names, and transitions between musical worlds are an important part of the experience. Main functions as a massive audiovisual spectacle, while Galaxy, Daydreaming, Alchemy, FORM, and other zones offer a more focused sound and a different audience profile.
First-time visitors can expect an intense, sprawling event in which a good personal schedule is more important than trying to see everything. Audiences for major pop and EDM performances fill the arena, while other zones attract fans of underground electronic music, bass music, hip-hop, retro programs, or a slower daytime rhythm.
Final-day performers
Flo Rida, Steve Aoki, Afrojack, R3HAB, Tash Sultana, Sara Landry, MRAK, Jamie Jones, Andy C, and Jan Blomqvist have been confirmed for the fourth day, along with additional names in the program. That selection alone shows how far the final evening moves away from a monotonous EDM marathon.

Nine stages and different rhythms
The 2026 overview lists nine stages: Main, Galaxy, Alchemy, Daydreaming, Time, Tram, Retro, FORM, and Soul Circle. Their role is both programmatic and logistical. The audience is distributed across several locations, while stadium headliners, all-night electronic sets, local performers, retro music, and calmer content take place simultaneously.
Main is the central point and the location of the most extensive productions. Entering the stadium, finding a section, and leaving after a major set can take time, so a realistic time reserve should be left between two performances. Galaxy is an important destination for house and techno, Alchemy has a harder urban and bass character, while Daydreaming is better suited to long, gradually developing sets. Retro and Tram create a smaller, more immediate atmosphere, and Soul Circle expands the program beyond the nighttime club rhythm.
Places disappear quickly, especially for visitors planning to attend for only one day. A one-day ticket cannot be exchanged for another festival day, so the name of the day and the list of performers associated with that product should be checked before purchase.
Cluj Arena and Central Park as a single whole
Cluj Arena is located at Aleea Stadionului 2 and has a capacity of 30,201 seats in its standard stadium configuration. During the festival, the space is adapted for concert production, so that number is not equal to the number of available festival tickets. The stands provide an overview of the massive stage, while the floor brings the audience closer to the production and performers.
The arena is located next to Central Park "Simion Bărnuțiu", a public park opened in 1830. The lake, the Casino building, and the wide avenues form an urban backdrop, but during UNTOLD the space is transformed into a network of entrances, stages, food and beverage zones, and passageways. This is an important difference compared with festivals outside the city: the park is not merely an approach to the arena, but an integral part of the experience.
The proximity of the center makes it easier to arrive on foot from many accommodation areas. However, temporary traffic changes mean that the final part of the journey should be planned without relying on the usual bus stop or a drop-off immediately next to the stadium.
One-day, multi-day, and VIP options
For 2026, there are General Access products for one day and four days, four-day Standard and Comfort products, and various VIP options. The one-day ticket for the final day is intended for the August 9 program and does not provide access to the other days.
General Access includes public stages and zones, Food & Drinks areas, and brand activations. It does not include backstage areas, Artist Village, VIP platforms at the Main and Galaxy stages, or technical areas. Comfort is a four-day option that includes Secret Garden, Fast Lane, and wristband delivery. VIP Mainstage provides access to a separate platform and special facilities by the main stage, while Galaxy Backstage is aimed at audiences focused on the Galaxy zone. Part of the VIP offer is available only to adult visitors.
For a one-day visitor, GA is sufficient for a complete tour of the public part of the festival. VIP makes sense for those whose priorities are a separate entrance, a platform, and shorter waiting times.
Entrance, check-in, and festival wristband
Access to the festival grounds begins at 16:00 each day. A one-day ticket is valid from 16:00 to 05:00, which means that the Sunday program ends early on Monday morning. A maximum of two entries is permitted during one festival day.
To collect the wristband, visitors must show the ticket QR code and an original identity document or passport. The wristband is personal, non-transferable, and must remain undamaged on the wrist. A cut, resealed, or altered wristband may be declared invalid.
Online check-in is completed through the user account in the My Wallet section. Pre-festival wristband collection is also organized in Cluj-Napoca and Bucharest for GA and VIP categories, with completed online check-in and an original document.
GA and VIP visitors enter from the Central Park direction at the Hungarian Opera entrance, with VIP having a separate queue. Children under seven years of age have free access. Older minors need a ticket, an identity document, and parental consent, while children under 14 must remain with a parent or responsible adult at all times. Minors are not allowed to enter certain VIP areas.
What may be brought inside
The 2026 rules set a maximum backpack or bag size of 29 x 21 x 12 centimeters. Larger luggage may be refused, so a one-day visitor should bring only what fits into a small bag.
- Do not bring: food and drinks, bottles, cans, umbrellas, chairs, pyrotechnics, lasers, drones, professional cameras with interchangeable lenses, large tripods, and dangerous objects.
- Allowed: a compact camera, GoPro, portable battery, sunscreen, lip balm, and non-flammable perfume or deodorant in a container smaller than 50 ml.
- Medication: quantity and packaging restrictions apply to ordinary tablets, while treatments for chronic conditions and controlled medications require medical documentation.
Because umbrellas are not permitted, the rain rules recommend raincoats. This is not a weather forecast, but an important distinction when packing. Professional photography equipment should be left at the accommodation unless the appropriate accreditation is available.
Food, drinks, and payment
GA access includes Food & Drinks zones and public activation areas. Food and drinks may not be brought in from outside, so visitors should rely on the selection available within the perimeter. The festival also uses the wristband for cashless payments. Funds can be added online after check-in or at credit points, where top-ups are accepted in cash or by card.
It is practical to add a smaller initial amount and monitor spending. Refunds of unused funds are subject to specific rules and deadlines that should be checked in the user account. The wristband should not be discarded immediately after leaving, because it may be linked to transaction records and the refund process.
Additional content is not limited to food and beverage services. Nine stages, smaller music venues, and Soul Circle provide breaks from the main stadium program. For workshops, daytime activities, or special performances, visitors should rely on the schedule for the specific day rather than on content from previous editions.
Arriving by plane, public transport, and car
Avram Iancu Cluj International Airport is connected to the city center by lines A1E, 5, and 8, and the usual journey takes around 30 minutes. Taxis are available at the exit from the arrivals terminal. During the festival, additional time should be allowed because of restrictions around Central Park.
For UNTOLD 2026, lines 26, 26L, 27, 28, 28B, 41, and 44 operate on diverted routes, while the Cluj Arena and Parcul Central stops are temporarily suspended. Tram lines 102 and 102L are suspended from August 3, with replacement buses on line 101A and additional changes. The current route should be checked on the day of travel, and visitors should expect to complete the final section on foot.
Arriving by car directly at the arena is not the best basic option. Restrictions around the park and the large pedestrian zone can slow both access and departure. The municipal Park&Ride Traian Vuia has 889 parking spaces and can be used as a point for leaving a vehicle before continuing by public transport. For city garages outside the closed zone, operating hours and the possibility of exiting at night should be checked in advance.
Plan for a first visit
It is best to enter early rather than immediately before the main performer. Arriving from 16:00 leaves time to verify the wristband, tour the perimeter, locate the Main and Galaxy entrances, add funds, and choose a meeting point for the group. The mobile network may be overloaded during peak crowds, so it is useful to agree in advance on a physical location for regrouping.
- Save the QR code and personal documents so that they are quickly accessible.
- Create a schedule with no more than three or four priorities and add time for walking.
- Bring a small bag within the permitted dimensions and a portable battery.
- Check the final nighttime transport or determine a walking route to the accommodation in advance.
- Do not plan more than two exits because the number of re-entries is limited.
