Algarve Motor Park is one of Portugal’s most recognisable motorsport complexes, centred on the technically demanding Autódromo Internacional do Algarve circuit. Its undulating layout, pronounced elevation changes and open grandstand design give the venue a distinctive character while providing extensive views of the racing action. The main and additional grandstands offer more than 72,000 seats in total, and the circuit is designed to host top-level international car and motorcycle racing.
The atmosphere at major race weekends is defined by the sound of the engines, strong sightlines from the spectator areas and facilities distributed around the circuit. Depending on the event and ticket category, visitors can find food and beverage outlets, toilets, large screens showing the on-track action, and VIP or hospitality areas. As distances within the complex can be substantial, checking the designated grandstand and corresponding entrance before arrival is recommended.
Sítio do Escampadinho, Mexilhoeira Grande, Portimao, Portugal is located outside the more densely built-up parts of the city, making road access the most practical way to reach the venue itself. Major events use several parking areas around the circuit, some approximately a 10- to 30-minute walk from the grandstands; availability and parking rules may vary by event.
