LASK defeated SC Kalsdorf 7-0 in the cup and then beat Grazer AK 3-0 in the league. In two competitive matches, they scored ten goals and conceded none. Christoph Lang scored four goals in the cup and one in the league, while Samuel Adeniran scored once in the cup and twice in the league opener.

Austria's key players

One confirmed absence nevertheless reduces the rotation options. Ramiz Harakate tore the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee during the cup match against SC Kalsdorf and faces a lengthy spell on the sidelines. He will not be an option for the attacking line in Vienna.
Tactical battle: width, pressing and the second ball
Austria and Wolfsberger AC used a 3-4-3 formation in the opening round. Against LASK, the same basic shape may help the home side match the visitors' back three numerically, but only if the wide players close down Jørgensen and Bello at the right time. Leaving them free to deliver crosses towards Adeniran would be a risky plan.
Helm's team must improve their build-up from the defensive line. In Wolfsberg, they were frequently left without a simple passing option into midfield. LASK will probably direct their pressure towards the wide areas, where they can trap the receiver against the touchline. Parkplatz Verteilerkreis Favoriten and Garage Altes Landgut are nearby, but the number of spaces is limited. A practical alternative is to use car parks along the U1 line and then continue by public transport to Altes Landgut.
