Grazer AK vs Wolfsberger AC: an important test after a turbulent start to the season
Grazer AK and Wolfsberger AC meet in the 5th round of the Austrian Bundesliga on August 29 at 17:00 at the Merkur Arena in Graz. The home side enters the match under considerably greater pressure. Joachim Standfest must quickly find the right balance
Standfest took charge of the team at a difficult moment. After the victory against Lustenau, GAK conceded nine goals in its next two league matches. Such a run naturally increases the importance of organization without the ball.
The squad contains the elements needed to play with three central defenders and players providing width along the touchline. What could decide the match
For GAK, the first objective should be to avoid conceding an early goal. Against Rapid, the team conceded the first goal as early as the 5th minute, the second in the 13th, and there were five by half-time.
