University of Virginia students explored why we laugh through podcasting, psychology and the shared power of sound
Find out how University of Virginia students in the Writing with Sound course turned humor into a research-based podcast story. Through conversations with the Emotion and Behavior Lab, they studied shared laughter, social signals and the ways sound can explain why people connect through humor, jokes and spontaneous reactions in a group. We present an overview of a project that brings together sound and psychology.
