World Birdwatching Day in Nin: children turn salt pans into a classroom and learn about nature and sustainability

On October 2, 2025, World Birdwatching Day was celebrated in Nin: pupils of Petar Zoranić Elementary School, led by Solana Nin, the Tourist Board and Nature Jadere, transformed the salt pans into an outdoor classroom, revealing the richness of the Nin Lagoon and the importance of Natura 2000 habitats and sustainable tourism without disturbing birds.

Queen's Beach Preservation Project in Nin: Celebrating the 1100th Anniversary of the Croatian Kingdom with the support of DM

The Tourist Board of the City of Nin is launching the project "Celebrating the 1100th Anniversary of the Croatian Kingdom - Let's Preserve the Queen's Beach" with the support of dm. The goal is to protect the Nin Lagoon, clean the beach, install information panels with dispensers for biodegradable ashtrays, and educate about NATURA 2000 habitats and healing mud.
