Teatro Popular Melico Salazar

Teatro Popular Melico Salazar is one of San José's most recognizable theatres and an important centre for the performing arts. The historic building dates from 1928, with a striking late-Neoclassical design distinguished by Corinthian columns, balustraded balconies, decorative reliefs and Modernist details.
