DRFG Arena Brno is one of Brno’s best-known multipurpose indoor venues, opened in 1982 and extensively modernized in 2010. Built around a compact central sports and event floor, the arena is particularly associated with ice hockey but can also host concerts, sporting competitions, shows and other major events. It accommodates around 7,700 spectators for ice hockey, while concert configurations can provide capacity for approximately 8,000 visitors.
The interior can be adapted to different types of events, with seating, floor areas and stage layouts changing according to the production. Its compact geometry creates a strong sense of proximity to the rink, court or stage, while visitors have access to numerous food and drink concessions. The arena also includes skyboxes, VIP areas and a restaurant, extending the facilities beyond the main spectator stands.
The arena is located at Křídlovická 34, 603 00 Brno-Staré Brno, Czech Republic. The Křídlovická stop is immediately beside the arena, allowing visitors to arrive close to the entrances by bus or tram; parking directly around the venue can be limited during major events, making public transport or walking particularly practical.
