VoxHall is one of Aarhus' established rock clubs and live music venues, located within a cultural complex whose roots reach back to a former museum building. The present concert venue opened in 1999 and, following an expansion, reached a capacity of approximately 700 guests, with a balcony adding to its distinctive club-style layout. Its size allows it to host established Danish and international acts while preserving the immediacy associated with a more intimate concert venue.
The main hall is designed primarily for standing concerts and close interaction between the audience and the stage, making it particularly well suited to rock, metal, indie, electronic music and other energetic genres. The balcony offers an additional view of the stage, while a bar and cloakroom are available for visitors. The compact layout helps create an intense live atmosphere without the scale and distance of a large arena.
VoxHall is located at Vester Allé 15, Aarhus, Denmark. There is no dedicated visitor parking at the venue, so drivers should use public parking facilities and garages in the surrounding area. Several bus services stop immediately near VoxHall, making it straightforward to reach the concert venue itself.
