Confluence Spectacles is a modern theatre and performance venue in Avignon, developed within the former temporary opera building and adapted as a permanent home for a wide range of live productions. The flexible auditorium accommodates approximately 1,050 guests in a fully seated configuration, including accessible spaces, and up to around 1,650 people in a combined seated and standing layout. Its large stage can host theatre productions, concerts, comedy, musicals, dance and other forms of live entertainment.
The interior is designed to adapt to different performance formats, with professional stage, sound and lighting infrastructure and clear audience sightlines towards the stage. Visitors can also use the bar and snack area with a terrace, providing a convenient place to spend time before or after a performance. The combination of variable capacity and a spacious stage allows Confluence Spectacles to accommodate both more intimate shows and larger-scale productions.
The venue is located at Place de l'Europe, Avignon, France, directly opposite Avignon TGV railway station, with the entrance only a few minutes away on foot. Free parking for spectators is available beside the venue, while the Confluence bus stop is also located nearby.
