Main Hall at Bunkyo Civic Hall is a large concert and performance venue located inside the Bunkyo Civic Center in Tokyo. The proscenium-style auditorium has a capacity of 1,802 seats, while its expansive stage and integrated acoustic reflectors make it suitable for classical concerts, orchestral performances, ballet, opera, musicals and other large-scale stage productions.
Acoustics are one of the hall's defining features, with stage reflectors and side-wall elements designed to create a balanced sound environment for live music. Seating is arranged across the main level and balcony, while foyer and lounge areas provide space to gather before performances and during intervals. Food and drinks are permitted in the foyer but not inside the auditorium.
The hall is located on the first floor of the Bunkyo Civic Center at 1 Chome-16-21 Kasuga, Bunkyo, Japan. Korakuen Station and Kasuga Station are directly connected to the complex, allowing visitors to reach the building without a lengthy outdoor walk; paid underground parking is also available within the Civic Center.
