Hackensack Meridian Health Theatre is a historic theatre within the Count Basie Center for the Arts in Red Bank, originally opened in 1926 as the Carlton Theater. With approximately 1,568 seats, the venue retains the character of a traditional theatre with orchestra and balcony seating, while successive renovations have adapted the historic auditorium for modern concerts, stage productions, comedy and other live performances.
Inside, the theatre combines an intimate performance atmosphere with modern stage, lighting and sound technology. No seat is more than approximately 125 feet from the centre of the stage, helping to provide clear sightlines and a strong sense of connection with performers. Visitor facilities also include bars, concession areas and accessible seating and entrances for guests with reduced mobility.
The theatre is located at 99 Monmouth St, Red Bank, United States, in the central part of the city. The venue does not have its own dedicated parking lot, but public parking is available nearby, including parking around Red Bank Station and the Globe Court garage, both within a short walk of the main entrance.
