Nickelback announce world tour with 70 shows: London, Amsterdam, Cologne, Milan, Vienna and Łódź among the stops
Canadian rock band Nickelback announced a major world tour, Everything Under The Sun Tour 2027, on October 9, 2026, which will take them across North America, Europe and Australia next year. According to the schedule published by concert promoter Live Nation, the initial list includes 70 dates, from a performance in Pittsburgh in early February to the finale in the Australian state of New South Wales in mid-October. The tour supports the release of the band's eleventh studio album, Everything Under The Sun, scheduled for October 30, 2026. British band Don Broco, who have already collaborated with Nickelback on a song, will join the tour as special guests.
For European audiences, the key dates fall between May 22 and July 13, 2027. The first concert of the European leg will take place in Leeds, followed by London, Birmingham, Dublin, Glasgow and Manchester, as well as a series of performances across continental Europe. The itinerary includes Brussels, Amsterdam, Cologne, Munich, Zürich, Milan, Vienna, Prague, Budapest and Łódź, among other cities, followed by concerts in the Baltic and Nordic countries. France is not included in the initially announced schedule, despite the tour passing through several neighboring countries. Dates in London, Amsterdam and other cities are already listed on the ticket sales pages of concert organizers.
Worldwide schedule from February to October 2027
The list published by Live Nation alongside the tour announcement contains 39 dates in North America, including a concert in Mexico, 24 in European countries and seven in Australia. This schedule means the tour is not limited to a handful of selected major cities: alongside the largest metropolitan areas, it also includes numerous important regional concert hubs. The organizer states that most performances will take place in arenas, while the Australian leg also includes concerts at outdoor venues. The list reflects the announcement made on October 9 and should not be interpreted as a guarantee that additional dates or venue changes will not be announced later.
The tour begins on February 6 at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States. Over the following months, Nickelback will visit Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta, Washington, Boston, Detroit, Denver, Las Vegas, the greater Los Angeles area and several Canadian cities, including Montréal, Toronto, Edmonton, Calgary and Vancouver, among others. A performance in San Antonio is scheduled for May 1, while a concert in Mexico City has been announced for May 7. The band will then move to European stages, with the first performance in Leeds taking place just two weeks later.
The Australian leg has been announced for October 2027, following a break of almost three months after the European section concludes. According to the official schedule, it begins on October 2 in Perth, continues through Adelaide and Melbourne, followed by Geelong, Brisbane and Sydney, and concludes on October 16 in Pokolbin, in the Hunter Valley wine region. Unlike the predominantly indoor arena schedule in Europe, the Australian venues include Mount Duneed Estate and Roche Estate, giving this leg an additional festival-like and outdoor concert character. The announced itinerary spans more than eight months, although performances are not evenly distributed throughout that entire period.
Europe: 24 concerts in 17 countries, including four performances in Germany
The European leg covers the United Kingdom and Ireland, along with fifteen other European countries. The United Kingdom has the highest number of individual concerts, with five confirmed performances, while Germany is represented by four cities: Cologne, Hannover, Stuttgart and Munich. Ireland, Belgium, the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Austria, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Finland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark each have one listed concert. This distribution demonstrates that the tour has been planned as an extensive continental route rather than simply a series of performances in the largest Western European capitals.
The British and Irish shows open the European schedule: Leeds is first on May 22, London follows three days later, and Birmingham, Dublin, Glasgow and Manchester come next. The continental section begins on June 5 in Brussels, followed by Amsterdam and four German cities, with additional performances in Switzerland, Italy and Central Europe. The final part of the route leads through Poland, Lithuania and Latvia toward Finland and Scandinavia. The final European concert is scheduled for July 13 at the Royal Arena in Copenhagen, according to the date published in the promoter's announcement.

These dates and venues are taken from the schedule published on October 9, 2026, so travelers are advised to check for any changes on the official websites of the band, promoter or individual venue before planning a trip. It is particularly important to distinguish the city where a concert has been confirmed from nearby major cities: the Polish performance is scheduled for Łódź, not Warsaw. For some visitors, this will be crucial when choosing transportation and accommodation, especially when attending a concert requires international travel. Venue names are given according to the organizer's schedule, with city names presented in their commonly used English forms.
Why are Paris and other major markets missing?
The published European schedule does not include any performances in France, meaning no concert has been announced in Paris either. There are also no listed dates in Spain or Portugal, while Italy has one confirmed performance, in Milan. This absence does not mean additional concerts have been ruled out, only that these locations do not appear on the initial list presented by Live Nation on October 9. In that announcement, the organizers have not yet provided a reason why certain countries were excluded, so explanations involving demand, logistics or venue availability would be speculation.
The route moves from Western Europe through Central Europe toward the north, with intervals between individual dates. This makes it possible for audiences from countries not included in the schedule to attend a concert as well. However, the announcement provides no information about additional performances, organized transportation or travel packages, so decisions should be based on officially confirmed dates.
When do ticket sales begin, and what is known about presales?
According to Live Nation, the fan presale begins on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, at 10 a.m. local time in each respective market. An additional presale for Mastercard cardholders in selected European markets is scheduled to begin on Wednesday, October 14, also at 10 a.m., subject to participation requirements that vary by country and offer. Other partner presales will take place during the same week. General public ticket sales are scheduled to begin on Friday, October 16, at 10 a.m. local time, although details may vary for individual venues.
For example, the Ticketmaster sales page for the Leeds performance also lists Don Broco alongside Nickelback and specifies particular restrictions on the number of tickets each customer may purchase. Live Nation is also announcing various VIP packages for the tour, which, depending on the option selected, may include premium seating, access to a pre-show hospitality area or exclusive promotional merchandise. The contents of these packages are not the same for every performance. Standardized ticket prices for the entire tour have not been published in the official announcement, so it would not be justified to quote amounts that supposedly apply to all cities and ticket categories.
Presales are not open to all buyers under identical conditions: some require registration, a cardholder benefit or an invitation from the artist. Ticket sale start times refer to the local time of each individual market, which is particularly important when purchasing tickets from abroad. Prices, fees, refund options and ticket quantity limits should be checked for the specific concert.
New album Everything Under The Sun arrives at the end of October
The announced world tour is directly connected to Nickelback's eleventh studio album, which is scheduled for release on October 30, 2026, through Virgin Music Group. It will be the band's first new studio album since Get Rollin', released in 2022. According to the promoter's official announcement, the band has already introduced the new material with Rattle The Cage, recorded with guest guitarist John 5, as well as the singles Leave Me Behind and Make Me Love You. The organizer states that Rattle The Cage reached number one on the American Active Rock radio format, representing one indication of interest in the new music ahead of the tour.
The released songs suggest that the band is seeking to maintain its recognizable combination of powerful guitar passages and memorable choruses while also presenting different moods on the new album. However, the overall sound of the release and its reception cannot be reliably assessed before the album is released. The album arrives more than six months before the start of the European concerts, giving fans plenty of time to become familiar with the new songs. At the same time, interest in the performances can also be expected to be linked to earlier hits, although no official setlist for the 2027 concerts has yet been published.
Don Broco: special guests who have already recorded a song with Nickelback
British band Don Broco have been confirmed as special guests and the opening act on the tour. The group consists of vocalist Rob Damiani, guitarist Simon Delaney, bassist Tom Doyle and drummer Matt Donnelly, and their sound combines alternative rock, metal, post-hardcore and electronic elements. According to their biography published by record label Fearless Records, they have performed at major British venues and at the Download and Reading & Leeds festivals. They are therefore joining the tour as an already established live band rather than an act being introduced to a wider rock audience for the first time.
The connection between the two bands also extends beyond the stage. Don Broco's album Nightmare Tripping, released on March 27, 2026, includes a track of the same name recorded with Nickelback. Record label Fearless Records and official release information confirm this collaboration, which adds further musical context to the concert pairing. Nevertheless, there is no confirmation that the artists will perform the song together at every concert. The published schedule also explicitly states that Don Broco will not perform at the Hondo Rodeo event on February 27 in the United States, so details of the opening act should be checked for each selected date.
Nickelback after three decades: from major hits to a new world tour
Nickelback formed in 1995 in the small town of Hanna, in the Canadian province of Alberta, and their current lineup consists of Chad Kroeger, Ryan Peake, Mike Kroeger and Daniel Adair. They gained widespread international recognition in the early years of the 21st century, particularly thanks to How You Remind Me, which became one of their signature songs. Hits such as Someday, Photograph, Far Away and Rockstar followed. According to the British official chart organization Official Charts, How You Remind Me reached number four on the UK singles chart, while the album Get Rollin' climbed into the top ten of the UK albums chart in 2022.
As recognition of the band's lasting influence, Nickelback were inducted into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame in 2023, as recorded in the institution's official records. At the same time, their career has developed amid sharply divided critical opinions and a highly loyal fan base, a dynamic also explored in the documentary film Hate to Love: Nickelback. According to Netflix's description of the documentary, the film examines the band's rise, public criticism and relationship with fans. In its announcement of the new tour, Live Nation cites nearly 65 million albums sold worldwide; this is a figure provided by the promoter, illustrating how the organizer presents the band's commercial reach.
The tour follows the concert cycle associated with the album Get Rollin', which Live Nation claims was the fastest-selling and most-attended tour in the band's history. The new schedule demonstrates that Nickelback continue to perform on major international stages and have planned an extensive European route for 2027. The dates, venues and start of ticket sales have now been confirmed; any additional stops and setlists for individual concerts have not yet been announced.
