Ye expands U.S. leg of tour: new stadium concerts in Houston, Arlington and Glendale
Ye has expanded the U.S. leg of his 2026 concert tour with three new major stadium shows in Texas and Arizona. According to the official tour website, the rapper and producer will perform on October 31 at Reliant Stadium in Houston, on November 7 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington and on November 21 at State Farm Stadium in Glendale. The latter two concerts are promoted in promotional materials as shows in Dallas and Phoenix, even though the stadiums are administratively located in Arlington and Glendale, respectively. The addition of these dates shows that the tour, which for much of the year was strongly focused on international markets, is returning more significantly to the United States in the closing months of 2026. The new dates follow U.S. performances in San Antonio and New Orleans as well as two concerts at Soldier Field in Chicago, scheduled for September 3 and 4.
Houston gets a Halloween concert
The first of the three newly confirmed dates will take place in Houston on Saturday, October 31, at Reliant Stadium, with Live Nation and Ticketmaster listing the concert start time as 8 p.m. local time. Ticketmaster announced that the presale for the event begins on September 8 at 10 a.m. Central Time, while the public sale is scheduled for September 10. Registration for interested attendees has meanwhile opened on Ye's official tour website, with an announcement that some registrants will be selected to receive free tickets. Organizers have not yet released details about ticket prices, the final stage configuration or possible guests.
The name of the stadium in Houston could cause confusion among international audiences because the venue was known for years as NRG Stadium. NRG Energy announced in April 2026 that the stadium and surrounding complex would return to their original Reliant Stadium and Reliant Park branding from August, following approval by the Harris County Sports & Convention Corporation. The change took effect on August 1, making Reliant Stadium the official name of the same venue that had been called NRG Stadium since 2014. The stadium, opened in 2002, is home to the NFL's Houston Texans and is one of the city's largest multipurpose venues, with more than 70,000 seats for major sporting and entertainment events.
For Ye, the performance will also have a local historical dimension. According to reports by Houston media, the last time he performed publicly in the city was in November 2019, when he gave a performance for inmates at the Harris County Jail and several days later participated in a program at Lakewood Church during the period associated with the album "Jesus Is King". The Houston Chronicle reports that his last conventional concert performance in Houston before that was in 2013. A return to a major stadium therefore represents a considerably different format from his 2019 appearances and brings him back to a stage designed for tens of thousands of spectators.
AT&T Stadium in Arlington is being promoted as "Dallas"
The second new date is scheduled for November 7 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, a city between Dallas and Fort Worth in North Texas. The stadium's official website is also promoting the event as "Ye Live In Dallas", a common marketing practice for major tours that present the broader Dallas-Fort Worth urban area under the better-known name of Dallas. AT&T Stadium announced that the presale begins on September 8 at 10 a.m. Central Time, while the public sale is scheduled to begin on September 10 at the same time. According to information from the stadium, tickets will be sold through the SeatGeek platform.
AT&T Stadium is home to the NFL's Dallas Cowboys and one of the most recognizable enclosed stadium venues in the United States, making it an important indicator of the tour's ambition. The mere fact that the concert has been booked in a venue of such capacity points to a strategy focused on large individual events rather than a dense schedule of arena performances. In the announcement, organizers emphasize Ye's career spanning more than two decades and a catalog that includes albums from "The College Dropout" to "My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy". The Recording Academy states on its official website that Ye has won 24 Grammy Awards and received 76 nominations, placing him among the most decorated artists in hip-hop history. These figures help explain why, despite years of controversies outside music, he can still book some of the largest stadiums in the U.S. market.
Texas had already played an important role in Ye's schedule during 2026. Ticketmaster confirms that he performed on July 4 at the Alamodome in San Antonio. Registration for the concert has opened on the tour website, which also mentions the possibility that some registrants will receive free tickets. At the time of publication, September 3, 2026, State Farm Stadium's official calendar had not yet listed Ye's concert among its publicly displayed events, so additional details regarding the start of ticket sales, prices and timing had not yet been confirmed on the stadium's own website. Because Ye's official website explicitly lists the November 21 date and State Farm Stadium as the location, that listing currently represents the most direct confirmation of the event.
State Farm Stadium is home to the NFL's Arizona Cardinals and regularly hosts major concert productions, so its inclusion further directs the U.S. run toward top-tier stadiums. One or two weeks have been left between concerts, which is common for productions requiring extensive movement of staging and technical equipment. For now, organizers are emphasizing individual stadium events and audience registration.
The tour built an international schedule for much of 2026
Ye's concert year began in late January in Ciudad de México, where Ticketmaster Mexico lists performances on January 30 and 31 at Plaza de Toros México. During the summer, the official tour website listed a series of major international dates, including July 30 at Riyadh Air Metropolitano in Madrid, August 7 at Estádio Algarve in Portugal and August 14 at Central Stadium in Almaty, Kazakhstan. Dedicated official organizer websites confirmed the Madrid and Portuguese concerts, while Ye's tour website included the same dates in the broader schedule. Such a schedule shows that the strategy for 2026 relied on large individual concerts across different continents rather than a prolonged tour concentrated in a single market. U.S. performances were also part of the schedule, but they were spaced between international dates.
In the United States, Ye performed on August 28 at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, as confirmed by the stadium's official website. The next two U.S. concerts are scheduled for September 3 and 4 at Soldier Field in Chicago, his hometown, with the stadium listing an 8 p.m. start for both evenings. Since the date of this article is September 3, the first Chicago concert is still scheduled to take place later in the day local time, while the second is planned for the following evening. After Chicago, the official tour website currently lists two performances at Gazprom Arena in Russia on October 10 and 11, followed by a concert on October 24 at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium in Jakarta. Houston, Arlington and Glendale come only after that, making the three new U.S. dates the final currently announced block of the tour.
The concert in Jakarta has additional symbolic significance because promotional materials presented the performance as Ye's first major appearance in Indonesia. On the other hand, the return to Chicago connects the international tour with the city where Ye grew up and with which much of his early musical identity is inseparably linked. Soldier Field advertises two consecutive concerts on September 3 and 4, a format that is rare even for major stadium artists. Instead of a traditional linear route, the schedule is gradually being expanded with new cities and large standalone events.
Large audience, but also persistent reputational risk
The expansion of the U.S. leg of the tour is taking place while Ye remains a highly polarizing public figure. Over the past several years, his antisemitic statements, glorification of Nazi symbolism and other public outbursts have triggered condemnation, the termination of business partnerships and pressure on organizers of individual events. Ahead of the San Antonio concert in July 2026, some city officials publicly called for the performance to be canceled, but the event went ahead. What is currently confirmed for the three new U.S. concerts
The dates and stadiums are the most firmly confirmed details: Houston on October 31, Arlington on November 7 and Glendale on November 21. For Houston, Ticketmaster and Live Nation already have active event pages, with an 8 p.m. start time and announced sales phases in September. AT&T Stadium has also published its own page for the Arlington concert and stated that the presale will begin on September 8 and the public sale on September 10. For Glendale, Ye's official website has opened registration and confirmed State Farm Stadium, but a detailed sales page from the stadium itself had not yet been published at the time of the check. Information about prices, packages, timing and possible additional dates should therefore be considered open until confirmed by organizers or the stadiums.
The three new dates also shift the focus of the tour's closing phase back toward the United States. After months in which concerts appeared from Mexico and Europe to Central Asia and Indonesia, the schedule now concludes with a series of major events in the U.S. Southwest and South. Houston gets Ye's first major concert in the city in more than a decade, the Dallas-Fort Worth area gets a performance at one of the country's best-known stadiums, and the Phoenix metropolitan area joins the tour through State Farm Stadium. Whether organizers will subsequently add more U.S. dates has not yet been officially confirmed. The current schedule, however, clearly shows that the U.S. leg of the tour in the final months of 2026 has become significantly larger than it was at the beginning of the year.
