Arena at Kitagas Arena Sapporo 46 is a modern multi-purpose sports arena that opened in 2019 as part of the Sapporo Central Gymnasium complex. The main arena accommodates around 2,500 spectators, while its flexible layout supports basketball, volleyball, futsal and other sporting competitions as well as a variety of events. Its spacious interior and contemporary structural design create a functional venue designed for both athletes and spectators.
The seating combines permanent stands with retractable telescopic sections, allowing the arena layout to be adjusted to different events and uses of the playing floor. Seating arranged around the main arena provides clear views of the action, while the wider complex also contains a range of specialised sports facilities. Visitors have access to the standard amenities expected from a modern sports centre, including changing rooms, showers and lockers, while food and beverage options may vary depending on the individual event organiser.
The arena is located at 6 Chome-2 Kita 4 Johigashi, Chuo Ward, Sapporo, Japan. Parking is available at the complex, although capacity is limited, so public transport is generally the more practical option for major events. The entrance is approximately a 10-minute walk from Exit 8 of Bus Center-mae Station, around 12 minutes from Exit 21 of Sapporo Station and about 14 minutes from Naebo Station.
