Matsuura Culture Hall is a multifunctional cultural complex in Matsuura designed for theatre performances, concerts, ceremonies, lectures and other public events. Built with a steel and reinforced-concrete structure, the venue provides more than 7,000 m² of indoor floor space. Its main theatre, Yume Hall, has 505 seats plus dedicated wheelchair spaces, while the larger Fureai Hall can accommodate up to 1,499 people and can also be configured for sporting and other multipurpose events. This combination makes the complex an important venue for cultural and community programming in the city.
Yume Hall offers a more intimate theatre setting, with a stage equipped with an acoustic shell, curtains and a piano, allowing the space to support different types of performances. The complex also includes a 200-person small hall, a rehearsal room, dressing rooms and additional event facilities. The variety of spaces makes the venue suitable for everything from smaller gatherings and chamber-style programs to larger performances, concerts and public events.
The venue is located at 1110 Shisacho Uramen, Matsuura, Japan. Matsuura Station is approximately a one-minute walk away, making the final approach from the railway station to the cultural centre particularly straightforward. Visitors arriving by car can use a parking area with around 454 spaces, including designated accessible parking.
