IOC approves LA28 boxing pathway with 248 quotas and full gender parity in Olympic programme

The International Olympic Committee has approved World Boxing’s qualification system for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. Boxing will feature 248 quota places, an equal number of men and women, and 14 weight classes, marking the first full gender parity structure in the Olympic boxing programme

Las Vegas to Open Olympic Wrestling Qualification for Los Angeles 2028 at 2027 World Championships

The 2027 World Wrestling Championships in Las Vegas will mark the first major stage of qualification for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games. Held at Thomas & Mack Center from September 11 to 19, the event will award the first 72 Olympic quotas and shape the UWW rankings for the rest of the qualification cycle
