Vodice, a charming Dalmatian town, will shine this year in festive attire during the event "Advent in Vodice 2024." From December 13 to December 31, Duke Branimir Square will become the center of Christmas magic, offering a rich program for all generations.
Music Program
Visitors can expect performances by renowned artists of the Croatian music scene. On the very first day, December 13, the atmosphere will be warmed by Tomislav Bralić and the Intrade klapa. In the following days, concerts by popular bands such as Magazin, Fenix Band, as well as energetic performances by Jole and The Expendables will follow. For lovers of klapa music, there is also a performance by klapa Intrade, while Željko Bebek will further enrich the program with his hits.
Gastronomic Offer
The festive atmosphere will be complemented by a diverse gastronomic offer at the Advent houses. Visitors will be able to taste traditional delicacies such as fritule, prosciutto, homemade sausages, and mulled wine with Mediterranean spices. Special attention is given to Fešta od bakalara, which will take place on December 24, and the planned barbecue for December 31.
Program for Children
The youngest will enjoy creative workshops held almost daily from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Additionally, on December 21, a children's bike ride is organized, and on December 31 at 10:00 AM, the Children's New Year's Reception in the Square. The arrival of Santa Claus on motorcycles on December 21 will surely delight all present.
Cultural Events
Culture enthusiasts will be able to enjoy the traditional Christmas-New Year performance by Vodice’s majorettes on December 21 at the Cultural Center. Additionally, Christmas concerts by PZ Lira and Vodice Music will be held in the Parish Church of St. Cross, further enriching the festive atmosphere.
