BTS is returning to one of the largest concert stages in the United States at a point in their career that represents much more for the group than just another tour. Bag Rules Are Especially Important
Checking the rules before departure can save a great deal of time at the entrance. Soldier Field uses a clear-bag policy for BTS, but there is an important additional provision: backpacks are not permitted for these concerts, including clear backpacks.
Clear plastic, vinyl or PVC bags up to 12 x 6 x 12 inches, or approximately 30.5 x 15.25 x 30.5 centimeters, are permitted. A clear one-gallon plastic bag is also allowed, as well as a small opaque clutch up to 4.5 x 6.5 inches.
Because of the specific backpack ban, it is not enough to bring just any item that is technically transparent. The shape of the bag also matters.
Items listed as prohibited also include large professional cameras with detachable or long lenses, selfie sticks, tripods, video equipment, umbrellas, cans and bottles, coolers, laser pointers and professional audio recording equipment. Smaller cameras for personal use may be permitted if they comply with stadium rules.
If there is a medical need for a bag or equipment that differs from the standard rules, the stadium provides for inspection of medical bags at the entrance.
What to Do Before Entering
For a concert like this, it is useful to separate the question of arriving at the stadium from actually passing through the gates. The fact that the gates are open from 6:00 p.m. does not mean that the best plan is to arrive in the stadium area precisely at 6:00 p.m.
The Museum Campus provides plenty of space for walking and is located beside the lake, with views toward the Chicago skyline. For visitors coming to Chicago from another city, this makes it possible to spend much of the day in the central urban area and then continue toward the stadium.

- choose public transportation, parking or rideshare before heading toward the Museum Campus
