Kroupi returned to Barcelona's list after the impasse over Álvarez

Bournemouth gradually introduced the young Frenchman into the team, but Kroupi very quickly established himself through his efficiency inside the penalty area. During the season, the club highlighted his ability to finish attacks, composure in front of goal and progress in adapting to the greater intensity of English football. His 13 league goals do not mean that he is a fully developed striker without weaknesses, but they demonstrate a level of finishing that is rarely achieved at his age. It is particularly important for Barcelona that Kroupi is not exclusively a static centre-forward waiting for the final pass, but can drop towards the ball, change position and participate in linking attacks. This is precisely why he is seen as a player who could develop within a system based on possession, quickly winning back the ball and frequent positional rotations in the final third of the pitch.
Development at Lorient and a carefully planned move to England
Kroupi developed as a footballer at Lorient, a club where he was given an opportunity in senior competition at a very young age. Barcelona must therefore assess whether it is seeking an immediate leader of the attack or a player who will be allowed to assume that role gradually.
Lewandowski's departure accelerated the search for a new striker
